Some people can become addicted to food as well, and that addiction is a sickness. But food isn't a sickness. It is a good and necessary thing. Same with religion.

Religion is a man made product, just like cigeretts, acohol, candy or drugs.
Once you get hooked your hooked until you discover how to get out of the adiction.
You can spend as much on religion as you can drugs or any other adiction.

Religion may be an addiction. Anyone who believes that certain ideas, parameters, dogma or other man made requirements for salvation will save them may be addicted to a man made "religion" Faith is the key. Faith and belief in Jesus Christ as Saviour and Lord. Faith and belief that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, was crucified, buried and resurrected on the third day and that He is the only way to salvation, that is the answer. No one is saved by any "religion."

Would you believe if I told you that there is no such thing as religion? It's true. There is only a way of life.
