If a bomb went off in LA Jesus would be prepared for it because he would know it was going to happen. He would be busy on one level welcoming all the Christians home. He would also be busy watching over those who were left here on earth. Listening to their prayers (I don't think there are many atheists when death and destruction surrounds one.) Jesus would do what he does in any crisis. Welcome the saved home with open arms and a smile, watch over the lost, and do all he can to bless and draw them to him.

I imagine he would man a Red Cross station where survivors are streaming out of the city and he would offer aid and comfort. I wouldn't expect a big ego-show or any MacGyverisms from Jesus.
