That Jesus the Jew has spread the Word of God more than any other Jew or believer in God for that matter? It is the Jew's job to spread the Word of God, right? So.......why do Jews reject Jesus when he did all that was asked by God? Jesus showed the Gentiles who God is and that they should worship Him...right?

(Based on this verse)

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." (NIV)

or for those who prefer the King James Version...
"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." (KJV)

This prophecy is fullfilled because in the NT it states in Matthew 1:21-23 :

"She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins. All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."

So I ask: How does NE1 who claims to believe in the bible not believe "Jesus is God"?

I typically do not ask serious questions on here, except for recipes and such, but do not know where else to turn. It is lengthy and deep, but I would appreciate input.

A few facts first:
I am a well liked and respected member of my community, a single mom of an honor roll student who is thriving, and I am a closet alcoholic. I drink late at night to take a mental vacation from some really bad stuff that took place in my life. Its wrong, I know, but its how I medicate myself. (please no comments about AA and all that, my situation is a whole other issue)

Second fact, (will sound odd now, but if you have the patience to keep reading, will understand) I live in a very remote location, and have no close neighbors. Its not uncommon for me to run a load of laundry downstairs (stairwell is outside) in my undergarments, as I have no close neighbors, and a sufficient piece of land. I am basically quite secluded.

I know of a baby that was born with a black veil over her face. She was born in a Catholic hospital. A Priest at the hospital took the veil. He and another Priest had some type of ceremony then burnt the veil. Why and what does all this mean?
The Priest also told the mother that the child would be able to see more then most. What does that mean?

And, why should we who disagree with you respect your source?

As Christians, we consider such Old Testament laws as stoning sinners and animal sacrifices obsolete under the New Covenant because of Christ's sacrifice. But I am curious to know the reason why followers of Judaism who are still awaiting a Messiah have considered such laws no longer applicable (while others are still maintained such as circumcision for instance). Thanks...

The moslem are aligning, supported by Russia. Islam is the fastest growing religion. All supporting factors for Ezekial 38, are being fufilled. The U.S. is being pushed out of the way, by forces not within it's control. The signs warning are all present. We are nearing chapter 4 in Revelation. Genisis 21:20, Ishmael is identified as an archer-Rev. 1st horseman, the conquerer, the antichrist; has a bow and is given a crown. (Islam mahdi) Dan.9:26 shows the Roman empire also has an eastern branch that included much of what constitutes the moslem middle east! The battle of Ezekial, is to awakenIsrael to their God, and ushers in Daniel's 70th week, (the beginning of the 7 year tribulation) 2Thess. 2:7- the Holy Spirit removed ( the "rapture") same as in Noah's day-the Holy Spirit was removed before the flood. (Gen.6:3)and we are warned it will be just that, just before the the son of man comes(Matt 24).if you are left, will you then believe? You have the choice now, to find out foryourself

Jonah 2:5,6
5The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head.

6I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

Mountains at the bottom of the sea. How do you explane Jonah knowing this?
