Did you know that the Quran already confirmed this? Check out the link. It goes into details about how we come from water and clay. Which isn't all too surprising, considering God did say we are made from "dust" (wording could also indicate clay as clay is dust until mixed with water).

http://www.answering-christianity.com/sci_quran.htm

1- Life originated from water and dust in the Noble Quran, Plants and their origins:

Life originated from water in the Noble Quran.

Life and our physical bodies originated from CLAY - The Noble Quran Claimed it and Science confirmed it!

Science and Existence of Plant's pairs - The Noble Quran claimed it 1500 years ago!

I'm hearing that most Christians get upset at the idea that Jesus had a wife and possibly children. But what is so bad about that? After all he was still a man. Was he not entitled to get married, have kids, etc?

i have heard many times the question asked to atheists here in the R&S section "if atheists dont believe in god then why are they in the R&S section?" well here is my counter question for you. if you are so strong in your faith then why are you here in the R&S section asking questions about your own or other religions? the answer for some of your answers is the same for some atheists (me included). i at least want to learn and have a greater understanding about other beliefs and why people hold to those beliefs.

Are there some types of music that would be sinful to hear? I listen to some music, some of which have "controversal lyrics". I like the songs but that doesn't mean I feel that way. Am I committing a sin?

Infinity = having no beginning or ending. We had a beginning.

How do you explain the fact to Christians, that being finite creatures, it is impossible for us to live forever?

Finite things do not ever = infinity under any circumstance.
This disproves heaven AND hell?

Lately I've been thinking about a dream I had in September of 2005. It was right after my grandma died and in the dream I asked her when I would see her again and she said in 4 more years. Am I going to die in 2009!?! Or better yet, Christians, do you think the rapture could happen in 2009!?!

p.s. My grandma was a really godly person and I am a Christian. I wacthed the show "Bible Code: Predicting Apocolypse" and they talked about predicting disasters starting in 2009!

SERIOUS YA'LL! I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO ME!!!

I know that there are different varieties of Catholics. Some do not even follow the official doctrine but anyway I was once told that if you do not confess a mortal sin before you die then you go to Hell. According to this belief how is going to Hell not a game of chance? Let's say I commit a mortal sin like skipping church and I don't confess the day after because I die in a car accident. Essentially I am going to Hell for procrastination or what?
