He probably got several million, over all. The Da Vinci code is as fake as a $3 bill. For this code to be accurate it would have to be taken from the oldest of the manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, which it was not. It was taken from the Vulgate which would have been available in his day. Sorry folks, nice movie, nice topic for misguided speculation, but it isn't true. There is a warning in the Bible about this. It has to do with the idea of God is over there, some where, and He is not, or Jesus is in some country, and He isn't there. It was someone's idea to make some money and a lot of people in their own ignorance fell for it.

Considering the hype and no doubt the millions of copies sold, I would guess that he made several million. And yes, he was sued by the author of "The Holy Grail" who claimed that Brown had stolen the idea from his book.

It doesn't matter how much he made, what matters is that he woke up the brain dead so called Christians that just can't accept the fact that Jesus was a human being, and may vary well have been married and had a family, as a catholic I put more credence to that than I do the bible.

I thought it was pretty good! I hope he earned lots ! he worked on it for a long time! movie was good too.....and yes I am a christian and yes I believe in science and yes everything is possible and..

I thought the book was great! Great storyline and characters! It was entertaining, just like many other fiction books.
