--No, Adam just took his stab at total independence, and set his own destiny by leaving God!

--In case you might think this, God did not destine any of that scenario, please note:

(Isaiah 65:11) “11 “But YOU men are those leaving Jehovah, those forgetting my holy mountain, those setting in order a table for the god of Good Luck and those filling up mixed wine for the god of Destiny.”

--At present this is how we experience good or bad things:

(Ecclesiastes 9:11) “11 I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.”

--Thus the saying being at the right place, situation, at the right or wrong time brings about a scenario. No magic or curse!

Well said. Adam was incredibly smart. The only person who was mislead was Eve. Genesis says that 'a little while after' Adam ate from the forbidden fruit as well. Thus, I believe, that Adam was not fooled. He didn't want to lose Eve, therefore followed her in death. That makes me think, whose sin was more painful to God...

His intlect had nothing to do with it. He ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Before that--he knew nothing about evil. That knowledge gave him a choice. Eve was begiled(tempted above temtation) by satan . The man adam joined his wife because she convinced him to try the fruit. Looking at the facts of this faithful event--it was just a matter of time.

Yes. Actually I was told they were around for about a thousand years and Eve knew she couldn't have children because she was immortal so the devil just wanted to get it over with quicker. So that's about the time they ate the apple. God's plan would've worked without Satan's help.

given the choice, why wouldn't he? If God wanted him not to eat it he wouldn't have placed it there. Why would God test him if he already knew the outcome, let alone why he would grieve afterwards for something he already knew would happen. And since it did happen (allegorically or literally, whatever) that meant it was fate for Adam to eat it, meaning God wanted him to eat it, so it's good that he ate it.

Basically it's a metaphor that can be broken down into its appealing parts or a method of logically discerning the illogic of a godual concept.

God created Adam with the full capability to obey, but he did not. I don't believe God created Adam for destruction.

Adam was created with the will to choose, free will. That is how Allah ( Almighty God ) created us. And it is upon us to ask for forgiveness for our sins. I believe that Allah knew that we would sin and that Allah loves when we seek his forgiveness.
