Hah!!! Wonderful. Another variant: "If trees come from the ground, why is there still a ground?"
For the numerous people who posted below me and clearly don't get the joke: this is a satire on "If people come from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?"
No supporter of evolution claims that people come from monkeys; rather, modern humans and monkeys come from a common ancestor that belonged to neither group, as do all life forms, per the theory of common descent. And even if they did, that wouldn't imply that no monkeys would be around anymore--a common ways evolution works is cladogenesis, the splitting of a species into separate populations which diverge in different "directions". Thus, a population of apes might be split in half (such as by geographic isolation), with one half changing dramatically while the other half changes very little, based on their different environments.
So, the argument "If Christianity came from the Bible, how come there is still a Bible?" is a bad one for the same reason. Hence the joke.

Actually, "Christianity" developed from the practices and teachings of the disciples of Jesus, who were passing on what He had taught them. The writings we now have as the Bible were not officially collected and called the Bible until much later. However, the Catholic Church teaches that these writings were inspired by God and, though written by human beings, contain what He wished to teach us. The Bible still exists because the Church recognizes it as God's Word and therefore a source of truth. However, we also incorporate Sacred Tradition and the Magisterium (or the teaching authority of the Church) because the Bible itself says that certain things are hard to understand. It also does not say that it alone is sufficient for our teaching. That and the fact that Jesus gave authority to the Apostles are the reasons that the Pope and the Bishops in agreement with him have the authority to speak on matters of fath and morals.

Better yet, if Christianity came from Judaism, how come there are still Jews?
Is that what Mel Gibson was so mad about, that he couldn't find an answer to that question?

Not to mention that over the years the Christian religion has had many books, gospels, and even a whole Testament added to it that have made Christianity... dare I say... evolve.
