You can speak all that demon cr=ap and going to hell for an eternity cr-ap. You people believe that God is that hateful and descructive. To you God is conceded and loves God's self more than anything else. Why would God stipulate that we have to accept Jesus in out hearts or we go to hell for an ETERNITY. It makes no sense. It makes God look like a tyrant. What is the purpose? According to the bible(legend) all these great mystical happenings occurred in those times...why did they stop then? Why would God allow the Devil to run a place called hell? Why would God allow the devil to be in the first place tempting us all??? Eternity is a long time and it just sounds atrocious for people to believe such things. Was Mother Mary really a virgin?? How could people believe such things? How gullible are you? I challenge you people to answer these question without referring to the Holy Bible. I do not believe in the bible so therefore to me it will not be an answer.

ok so they say that they get popl into cults by using brainwashing, mind control, and forms of blackmail, lying, and through force. But just by reading a few books on cults, it's easy to tell that they usally use some kind of strange backwards logic to make ppl think that what they are doing is right, or there in it for the money, or there satanic ppl and want to be part of that kind of cult.

Going on to the whole demonology topic, its seems as if there isn't really and satanic cult on every street corner, lke the media wants us to belive. It's more like there are a few twisted ppl in the world, and there always will be. Its more likely that the demon worship era is over, and we should be safe for at least a generation.

Going back to the cult deal, and my main question. Why is it that there are so many ppl who say there in a cult. And then there the whole chatholic churh. i belive in God, yet i still see how stupid they are. Anyway i have run out of room, so just anwer to what I have

As humans, we get our wisdom from our parents, friends, environment, experiences, etc. The Biblical God is eternal, so where did he get his wisdom?

"Man whom I have created I will destroy from the face of the earth; both man and beast; and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I had made them."

Yeah, some humans and some humans' kids; I myself commence to feel God's remorse...
And the creeping things -- only more so. I have always hated creeping things.
But the birdies??
Whatever did the birdies do wrong??

Im wondering...if the Queen were to adopt a child, does that child then inherit the Queens bloodline and throne? No, right?

So then, why, exactly, is Jesus claimed to have come from the Bloodline of David? The Bible traces the bloodline of Joseph - but Joseph wasnt Jesus' biological father, according to Christianity - God is Jesus' biological father.

So, why does Jesus inherit Joseph's bloodline, when he was not born of Joseph?

I am a God-mother but I'm not Christened myself. When the priest asked my friend if the prospective God-parents were Christened she said that I wasn't. He smiled and said that he hadn't heard that. I'm not asking for opinions on him. I think he 'bent' the rules like everyone else but I know I'm a good God-mother.

What would God appreciate more do you think, someone like me who isn't Christened but dote on my God-child and know what my duties are or the type of God-parent who may be Christened but basically just turns up to the church on the day and then doesn't do much more for ever after?

Please don't just quote the rules from the Christian handbook to God parenting. I've said I know the priest bent the rules. I don't want quotes from others, I'd seriously like YOUR honest opinions.

I had a dream. And, in this dream, it was night and I was in a open field. I saw a pastor, but he was not my pastor. I heard him say, "The building is coming". Then I saw believers carrying what looked like sandbags and luggage in this field. They were piling up the sandbags and luggage in to a stack about 15 feet hight and 100 feet long. I then heard this same pastor say, "It's time to go". All the believers started to leave, but I took my sandbags to the stack, and instead of leaving, I climbed up on the top of the stack and laid down. While on the top of the stack I fell asleep. These dream is long so I have to skip part of it. I left the field and went across the street where this "building" was. I heard this pastor say run, but I kept walking. Then two black cars pulled up behind me and tried to run me down. I ran through trees and the cars could not get me. Then, I was almost to the building. I heard this pastor say, "He's not going to make it".

It is a known fact that it is impossible to be perfect.

The moment that you slip and fall, in fact, daily committing sin helplessly, you are deemed by God to be worthy of death.

Doesn't this negate the meaning of life, to be born just to die?
Should people be allowed to live, knowing every person that will ever be born shall commit so atrocious a deed, that he/she is worthy of death?

Why don't we just get it all over with & kill everybody off at once, so that all our problems are done?

Why does it have to be either or? If human beings can create artificial intelligence is GOD incapable of creating an intelligent universe that is programmed to evolve with the environment?
Are human beings foolishly divided between the two camps of Creationism and Evolution? What if Creation was programmed to Evolve and Darwin is a blessing of GOD but a curse to preachers that wish to maintain a monopoly over the layman's faith? Is it a sin or heresy to dare and combine both or has GOD just spoken to me and through me to you, sponsored of course by YAHOO.

I know it's important to believe first, learn later, and many kids might not be ready to learn. Rather than risk their souls, maybe there should be a test. Maybe by burnt offering of a favorite toy, or fasting in the desert? Maybe by stoning an adulteress?

I've been reading and sometimes answering the questions in the R&S forum over the past few weeks. On the whole, there have been some good questions (excepting the obvious inflammatory ones).

The atheists have frequently responded with derision and ill thought out responses, which isn't really a problem because they are out to throw doubt on spiritual issues, which is irrelevant as there is always doubt about spiritual issues. The atheist viewpoint does not contribute to or take away from people's beliefs.

The christians, however, using the same sort of derisive and ill thought out responses are also throwing doubt on the issues and furthermore, as representatives of their faith, on the notion that god is accepting, wise and just. This serves the ends of the atheists, not the christians.

The well thought out answers from both are fewer, and so do not contribute much to the overall "feel" of the answers.

Do you christians realise this? If so then why answer in this way?
