"Man whom I have created I will destroy from the face of the earth; both man and beast; and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repented me that I had made them."

Yeah, some humans and some humans' kids; I myself commence to feel God's remorse...
And the creeping things -- only more so. I have always hated creeping things.
But the birdies??
Whatever did the birdies do wrong??

The thing I love about this story is god decided to kill EVERYONE and THEN he noticed Noah

How did he miss him the first inspection ??

I applaud Lucky Fokker, third answer. Basically the Bible god was having a tantrum and then he noticed Noah seemed like a nice guy... And so, didn't wipe out his entire creation.

Another question: But how many innocent children had to drown -- and for what?

Of course, the story is nonsense. But it shows the type of god that church people believe in.

God is not amused by questions such as yours. You would do well to recant this question, and post a question that sounds favorable to God.

If you think he doesn't read the questions on here you are badly mistaken.

Its a true wonder that God hasn't already come down here and blown all of us out of existance;
He must be one patient God, for sure.
Why the birdies, too? Because in His aggravation He wished to dump the whole damned thing. Anyway, you have your birdies today, so that should make you happy.
