I tink the majority believe in God just because thats what they have been told from day one

I believe in God because I chose to follow His teachings and then saw the promised blessing come into my life. I believe in God because I see His influence in my life every day.
I believe in God because I put his word to the test, and asked him many things and every time I have asked with faith like James 1:5 says I have received and answer through the power of the Holy Ghost.
I believe in God because after everything I have seen, heard, and experienced I cannot reasonably deny the existence of my Lord and Savior.

Nothing makes me believe in God. I get to choose. I chose to believe in God because I see now that pryer works and I can feel Him. It's kind of hard to explain. Like when you know you love someone, you just know and can feel it inside. You know what mean? I did grow up with my parents telling me about God from day one, but I've learned that God is real because I felt Him. I hope this helps.

I can't speak for others, but I believe because a had a near death experience and stood in the presence of God. Not a bit of doubt. God is there.

Take a really good look at yourself. Notice your hands and how they function and then look deeper. Every detail of your hand has a purpose. Who designed this? Every material thing that we as humans create, in some way, replicates the functions of the human body. The master is our guide. Even if you do not have a chosen religion, I think it is pure ignorance if you don't believe.

I believe in GOD because His words are powerful to those who believed Him.

1 - Seeing Miracles happen to myself and others,
2 - Looking at the beauty in the World and trying, without success, to prove that GOD did not create it,
3 - Coincidences that could only be GOD's handiwork, and
4 - The peace I feel when I am living in His perfect will.

I think its because God talks to Me daily and He even makes Me go ask people certain things that only that person and God knows about...besides I believe in God because a guy like Me couldnt have ever come to Christ without a real God like My God in Heaven....

the perfect accuracy of the bible and of course, faith. It's beyond me how anyone couldn't believe in God. He has an answer to every question. Yeah EVERY question. If you cant find it yourself, you can ask someone for help.
I for one didn't believe it from day one. Then, through a series of horrible experiences my life went from bad to worse. When I hit rock bottom I went to Christ and he in turn flipped everything in my life around.

I have been told about God from a child, yes, but I had to proved Him for myself. Now, no water can wash my beliefs, that there is a true God.
