Well silly owl, for all your wisdom you miss the point. As even the critics will tell you there are two creation events in Genesis.

What the critics won't tell you: The first creation is the spiritual creation in God's image. The second was the physical creation, the animal part. See the spirit man could not tend the garden.

Now the spirit man had perfect eyesight which was also multi-dimensional. To this day that eyesight is compared to eagles. Not only do you need great eyesight but you need a view point from above. Like above owls, above sparrows and for sure above all the buzzards circling today.

No, owls do not have better eyesight than God, just better than men who are bound in flesh and not free in spirit.

If you paint an image of the ocean does that mean the ocean will peel and crack with age?

The image is very specifically not the actual thing and only some of the attributes of the ocean are found in the painting - the color, visual tones, etc.

So mankind is indeed "the image of God" but not all attributes of mankind are attributes of God. I suspect that our desire to create, our desire to care for others, our love of communicating with others are part of that "image".

The part of man that is in the image of God is the Spiritual self since God has no physical self. The physical body may have evolved but the Spirit was created by God in God's image.

Your level of thought is about a deep as a puddle on the floor.

Of "created" and "made", made is "good"(only) x7.
They (them: Adam) "created" imperfect (law law)
We all (us) are notably "made" perfect (grace us)
http://www.godshew.org/ShewBread2.htm#inthem

Two options are given for the making of man:
- in our image (BEFORE: first: them: Gen 5)
- after our likeness (AFTER: second: "us")
The reason for twain is for compare-i-son.
The Lord is l-o-n-g-suffering to "us-ward".
http://www.godshew.org/Usward.htm

Them: no escape destruction: 1Thess 5:3
Us: not appointed unto wrath: 1Thess 5:9

Conversion: them->us (law law->grace).

He taketh away the first(law law),
that he may establish the second(grace)
http://www.godshew.org/RevelatorySermons1.htm

Two parts are notably played in the God Shew:
"Their part": God is evil(law) spoken of... Law.
"Your part": God is (grace) glory-fied... Grace.
http://www.godshew.org/TheirPartYourPart.htm

It's all "allegory" in both "covenants": Galatians 4.
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory.htm

when any them are "made" by any of them,
then what's "made" is "one proselyte": Mt 23,
which is called "more the CHILD of hell(law)"
http://www.godshew.org/Allegory3.htm

that is why(?) God said: let "us" make MAN,
as if declaring "the end"(of law) from the beginning(of law).

Pst - only what began can end.
Law began, and law has an end: mortal
Grace is eternal, no begin nor end: immortal

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
