Are christian scholars arguing the validity of this because they are biased to what this could imply, as in they've already made up their mind, or will they approach this with scientific detachment?

Islamic history tell that after his migration to Medina, prophet Muhammad attempted many times to attack Arab caravans and loot them. He failed many times until he finally succeeded in what is called "Badr" battle.

When I read about that battle I found that money was the only motive for it.

Does attacking caravans and loot them stand with what we always hear about prophet Muhammad's high attitudes?

I have heard many times that pro-life people constantly bomb abortion clinics and murder innocent people and target doctors. Then I looked at the statistics one day and saw that there have only been 7 murders in the US related to abortion since it became legal in the 70s. Certainly these 7 are a tragedy, but I was under the impression that it was hundreds of murders. Why do pro-choice people make it sound like they are constantly under attack by maniacs when evidence and facts clearly show otherwise? Do liberals make pro-life people sound violent for political reasons?

Didn't Lucifer actually commit the first known sin, or does this not count because he was an angel?

If religion is personal and only concerns your own soul, why do the major religions require "forced" conversions of others? In fact, as religions become more powerful in the world, they become less God related and more political. Are they becoming corrupt at that point?

regardless or inclusive of religious or scientific dogmas, is there a general process of returning back to the universe? like, i read one theory which claims the soul reincarnates about 6 months after the day of departure, or at least no sooner, [which is 3 months prior to being born] i want to hear anybodys ideas or theories, whether they're your own and/or they are published dogmas of 'religion' or 'sect'

Alma means young woman and is the word used in Isaiah 7. Christians mistranslate it to mean virgin....

Why do Christians continue to mistranslate this word even in new "more accurate" versions of the Bible?

What made you what you are? Did you choose your religion after research and trying to find the one that "right" for you, or is your religion the one that your parents raised you to be?
I guess I'm wondering if your religion was your choice, if it was the one that someone else told you was the "right" one?

I'm not trying to bash any religion here, or have anyone tell me why a religion is the right one, just curious as to why you are what you are.

(Please read in it's entirety first)

Creationists argue that evolution is wrong because it suggests that complicated life-forms evolved from initial chaos and single, simple life-forms. (I think that's fair?)

Well surely anything that could CREATE every single one of those complicated life-forms we have today must be infinitely more complicated?

A watch does not create a watch-maker, a pot does not make a potter.

The most complicated thing makes the simpler thing.

So arguing a God created everything, is suggesting that the most complex being conceivable, (one capable of making an entire universe and everything within it, and then monitoring it and answer our prayers), came first and created all the simpler things.

Does that not go against the initial arguement against evolution?

I don't want to read FAQ's about it on websites. I want to actually talk to someone who is a Buddhist and can help another person (i.e. me) make an important decision.

Okay?
