note: this is for those who believe he is god.

how come jesus cries out to his god? "my god my god why have you forsaken me?"
Mark 15:34
And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out in a loud voice, "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?"—which means, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

does that mean god has a split person identity disorder? or that there is even a higher god above him?

Think about it - some religions are based on dietary staples.
For example, the Aztecs and Classic Mayans worshipped a corn deity, and corn was the most common part of their diet.
Christians (or at least Catholics) eat the body and drink the blood of Christ, and they worship him too. (And bread and wine were food staples in the ancient Middle East).
Any other religions you can think of that worship their food?

Mary was the mother of Jesus who is the Son of GOD and GOD the Son. Jesus is not GOD(in 3 persons) He is one of those persons.

There is one mediator between mankind and GOD. Jesus Son of GOD. So why pray through a human called Mary?

Dont you know praying through Mary is a sin.?

1TI 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time.

Thousands have done just that.
Both in Europe and Africa and Asia.
I hope that Jesus will see my love as it is and I long to follow him on the way of the Cross.

Based upon reactions to my genuine questions about the catholic religion. You can't be truthful with your questions, because some people are too sensitive about their religion and cry to the "yahoo kastopo". I guess we all will have to be "PC" and phoney, to continue to converse with each other... how sad.

I did not know we were supposed to take shots each time a Pascal's Wager question is asked. Was there a memo? Did I miss it? How do I get on that mailing list?

More importantly, does it have to be vodka? I too would prefer tequila or whiskey. I have some Patron or Old Wellar's 107 Proof Whiskey. Will that be ok?

Do they not realize that some people are born with psychic abilities? How ignorant to claim that psychic abilities are evil! what if its a gift from God, and they are calling it evil out of ignorance and prejudice because they dont have the gift themselves?

Hi, i'd like to know as much as possible about ghosts? I have been living in this house with my mum for 2 years now and about 5 months ago something weird happened, i was taken a photo of myself for an art project and i took quite a few to get a nice one (as you do). And i looked at the photo afterwards and i saw a hand appear on the side of my face, it was very skinny and didnt look very living but you could tell it was a hand, i showed almost everyone i possibly knew and they thought i was lying, and sai it was my hand? or my mums? Well i couldn't prove this so deleted the photo and carried on with life. This isnt the only photo either, theres more! recently ive had another incident, It was about 6:30 am and i had my bed lamp on as i always do 'cos im young, and my alarm went off so i got up, walked across my room about to walk out the door and my lamp turned off, i thought 'fine' and went back to my bed. as soon as i was there the lamp came straight back on? why are they doin this?

I have seen many questions like "Why would God create people to worship Him?" and I have been thinking worship is for God but is more important to us than it is to Him. He is good. We are the ones who need to work on goodnes.

Because we don't. She is the Mother of God not God himself. We pray to her for intervention on our behalf. Just like all the other saints. We pray for intervention because they are the strongest link between God and humanity. ( Mother Mary being the strongest of course)

Many people profess Christianity. Very few live it-- almost none. And when you live it people may think you're crazy. It has been truthfully said that the world is equally shocked by one who repudiates Christianity and by one who practices it.

During World War II, an American Sunday School teacher who was in the Pacific had captured a Japanese soldier. In marching the soldier to camp, the American discovered that his prisoner spoke English. "You know what," said the Japanese soldier. "I was once a Christian." The American deliberated a moment and then said, "Why did you give up Christianity?" A look of surprise came upon the Japanese soldier, and he answered with a puzzled expression, "How can I be a soldier and still be a Christian?"

I have found most people still in favor of the war, thus the killing, are Christians. How can this be? I always ask myself what would Jesus want me to do? Would he want me to go into another country with self-righteousness and decide what is best for the people? He would remind me to take care of the log in my own eye before I would busy myself with the splinter in my neighbors eye, would he not.
