Mary was the mother of Jesus who is the Son of GOD and GOD the Son. Jesus is not GOD(in 3 persons) He is one of those persons.

There is one mediator between mankind and GOD. Jesus Son of GOD. So why pray through a human called Mary?

Dont you know praying through Mary is a sin.?

1TI 2:1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3 This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4 who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 6 who gave himself as a ransom for all men--the testimony given in its proper time.

"While Jesus was saying these things, one of the women in the crowd raised her voice and said to Him, "Blessed is the womb that bore You and the breasts at which You nursed." But He said, "On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and observe it."" Luke 11:27-28

Mary is the most blessed of Women being Mother of the promised Messiah, Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God. Mary is the Woman (Israel). Jesus was to be born through the People Israel. He is the Seed of Promise, the seed of the Woman.

Jesus Christ is the Bread from Heaven. The Word of God that came down from Heaven. Jesus Christ, in His Humanity, is also a person, a human. He is our High Priest (in His Ressurected Body) because He shed His own blood for our redemption. Mary didn't do this, but she is very imortant. She is very blessed.

Jesus Christ is our mediator between God and mankind. The way to the Father God is through Jesus Christ.

I agree with you that praying through Mary is a sin. We don't get to Jesus by praying to Mary. We get to the Father God because Jesus redeemed us with His cleansing blood. But Mary, also is a born again, spirit filled Christian, redeemed by His Blood. She was in the upper room at the day of Pentecost.

Mary's body died and turned to dust, but her soul & reborn spirit is in heaven with the Lord, doing what ministry God has given her. I highly expect that she does pray and intercede with all the Saints (those redeemed by the blood on earth and in heaven) for others.

Mary isn't a mere woman. She is the Woman (Israel), the one that gave birth to Yeshua (Savior of the world.).

In accordance with the Holy Trinity God is 3 in 1. Jesus is God and God is Jesus, therefore, Mary is the mother of God. Don't forget when the Angel Gabriel appeared before her, and said "blessed are you among all women". God picked HER among all women to carry his child, what does that mean?

Luke 1:28 - "Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you."

Luke 1:42 - "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus."

Mary is not a mere woman. Therefore, Catholics pray to her for her intercession.

You think Mary is a mere woman? She carried the God whom even heaven and earth cannot contain in Her Womb. And this is how you describe the Mother of God....a mere woman?

Do you not see what they are doing throughout the towns of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? No wonder I am so angry! Watch how the children gather wood and the fathers build sacrificial fires. See how the women knead dough and make cakes to offer to the Queen of Heaven. And they give drink offerings to their other idol gods! Am I the one they are hurting?" asks the LORD. "Most of all, they hurt themselves, to their own shame."

The nuns all taught us that Jesus was "too busy" to hear from us directly. So, by praying to Mary, she can pressure her Son into doing things our way by laying the old Jewish Maternal Guilt Trip on Him.

Prayer is a form of worship.
Thou shalt have no other Gods before Me."

Yes, God is first and foremost.

Praying the rosary, and the Hail Marys-- there is nothing wrong with that. We ask Holy Mary, for protection, guidance, purity of mind and soul.

Pray means to entreat or implore, "to make a request in a humble manner", or "to address God or a god with adoration, confession, supplication, or thanksgiving". Since the Bible says we should "pray for one another" (James 5:16), we pray (implore) Mary to pray (address God) for us and with us. If you examine the "Hail Mary", you will notice we ask Mary to "pray FOR us".
