I think Richard Dawkins makes great observations on how religion can be very illogical but if God is life how can u deny the existence of God. I deserve lots of stars because i am being out done by some really moronic questions

It saddens me that so many feel that God hates them. That they have a creator who despises them, and wishes them harm and pain. Those who feel like this (or something like it), where is this feeling of hatred coming from for you PERSONALLY?

I have been studying Hinduism for about 5 years and have made up my mind to convert to Hinduism and leave Islam behind totally. I changed my name to a Hindu name and my children will learn nothing of Islam only Hinduism. Some say that I will be killed by the Muslims if I tell them that I have left their religion but how can a religion be called peaceful if you condone killing people who don't agree with you? I have made a very detailed study of Islam and find it lacking in many respects and not just the ones that you hear normally like the repeative prayers that I had to learn in Arabic as a child and I can say in my sleep. Also the whole washing thing and I trully believe that Muhammad was not a prophet of God just an thug. These beliefs put me outside of Islam but still Muslims want to show me the error of my ways. Will I be killed because I used my brain and studied Islam and found it to be less than from God?

My family has always taught me the catholic faith is true. People around me have always been so close-minded. When I was younger my family forced me to attend Sunday school. I had to listen to preists and nuns talk endlessy about why masterbuation is wrong, gay marriage is wrong, and even thinking about sex is wrong. The vibe I got from them was that people should just get married stick the penis in, not care about the women's needs, only do it once to consumate the marriage, and further time to procreate. Than you shouldn't even do it while married for pleasure. I have never understood this. I'm 15 and now I got to public school and I think that all this stuff I've been taught is a load of bullshit. I want to know why families don't listen to their kids when they say they don't believe in this sort of stuff. I understand that sex and marriage should be about love, but that church is completely oppisite. My grandfather still brings up the fact I didn't make my confirmation.

There are a lot of things I let roll off my back like water on a duck to avoid sinning but just curious about why some people come to a religious category and ask pointless questions? Even worse I see people who in past answers claim to be religious giving some ridiculous answer to these ridiculous questions.

For good: Would you unite the people and teach the justice and respect for their fellow man.

For evil: Would you use it to scare them into following you?

Would you make yourself their leader?

Would you use them to conquer neighbouring peoples?
