Two fold. Some are 'hard core' atheists; and probably would not recognize God in this life for anything short of a major miracle to them.
The other 'atheists' may be 'turned off' by many other 'Christians' in this country (USA) presently, as many of them have not 'stepped up' to Christ's level (Matt. 18:16, 2 Cor. 13:1),
The scriptural 'old testament' to me is the law of Moses; not Genesis-Malachi (violating 2 Tim.3;16-17). Those 'atheists' I tend to feel sorry for presently.

The God of heaven calls them fools. Why should I think any difference. If they reject the Lord Jesus Christ and what He did on the cross they will go to hell. Psalms 14: 1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. Psalms 19: 1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

Views? I see them just as I see myself. They are free to choose and believe whatever they are inclined to, just as I am.
