there is way too little humor in cemetaries...people who live with a good sense of humor, should share it even in death...I like the one..."if you lived here, you'd be home".........You?

Since God made the sun, moon, and stars “to give light upon the earth” (Genesis 1:14–18), those lights would be immediately visible on earth. They fulfilled their purpose on the day God spoke them into being, because He “saw that it was good.” No doubt God also made Adam as a fully-grown man—perhaps with the appearance of being 30 years old, even though he was only minutes old. Likewise, herbs and trees were already mature and fruit-bearing, to provide a ready supply of food. That would be the case with all of His creation.

have you commited your life to GOD?

The forgiveness that is in Jesus Christ is conditional upon "repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ" (Acts 20:21). It is a gift that God offers to everyone, but individuals must receive it by repenting and trusting in Christ, or they will remain dead in their sins. No one has biblical grounds to continue in sin, assuming that they are safe just because Jesus died on the cross. See 1 John 3:4–6.

John Loomis / Redux for Newsweek
Growing in Grace: Followers of De Jesus believe he is Lord
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A native of Puerto Rico, de Jesus, 60, spent his youth drifting from the Roman Catholics to the Pentecostals to the Baptists. Then one night in 1973, he says, he awoke to a vision of two hulking men at his bedside who announced the arrival of the Lord, who, says de Jesus, "came to me and integrated with me." In the early years after founding Growing in Grace in Miami in 1986, de Jesus didn't claim to be Christ. Instead, he worked as a pastor spreading his doctrine: that under a new covenant with God, there is no sin and no Satan, and people are predestined to be saved. But as his following expanded, his claims did, too. In 1998, de Jesus avowed that he was the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul. Two years ago at Growing in Grace's world convention in Venezuela, he declared himself Christ. And just last week, he called himself the Antichrist and revealed a "666" tattooed on his forearm. His explanation: that, as the second coming of Christ, he rejects the continued worship of Jesus of Nazareth.

I don't know much about the afterlife, but there was a point in my life that I was really interested in it. From everything that I've heard, experience I have come to the conclusion that there is no heaven or hell. There is just an afterlife where every spirit/soul goes to be reborn or help those already on earth. ( from what i know) I would just like to hear all non traditional views of the afterlife to know what other people think, know, or believe.

First of all intelligent Design have nothing to do with Christianity , Judaism, Islam and any interventionist God... I.D just propose that the universe is Elegant , it is not the work of pure hazard. The Structure of the universe is described mathematically and not chaotic ... Einstein quotes:
"It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. if something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." "To sense that behind anything that can be experienced there is something that our mind cannot grasp whose beauty and sublimity reaches us only indirectly and as feeble reflection, this is religiousness. In this sense I am religious"
"Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity and I'm not sure about the former"

Many arguments put forward by evolution deniers involve either quote-mining or blatant misrepresentation of scientific principles (such as the accuracy of dating materials). These are forms of deception/lying. Even though I'm an atheist, do you think I should go ahead and tell them they are going to Hell for lying?

Why do you get so upset when some zealous Christian talks about hell and damnation and tries to convert everyone?
If some guy told me he saw a space alien from Mars who was eventually going to destroy earth I'd laugh and be on my merry way. I wouldn't waste my time with such a lunatic. Nor would I try to convince those who believe his claim otherwise. Who cares?? After all Jesus was a lunatic since He claimed He was God and God doesn't exist? The Bible is fake... etc. I certainly wouldn't spend my time on such a forum as this.

When I was 6 yrs old I opened my eyes during a deep sleep. I saw an old man with very bright lights in his eyes. He seemed annoyed that I saw him. He raised his hand and I fell back to 100% sleep. Is there any religious aspect to this or was this just a run of the mill dream? I am Jewish not Christian.

False because he said his coming would be in their lifetime, in their generation:
"The Son of Man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels. Then shall he reward every man according to his works.

There shall be some standing here who shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom."

Also: "This generation shall not pass till all these things be fuflfilled."
What things?
(1) Sun will be darkened.
(2) Moon will not give light.
(3) The stars shall fall from heaven.
(4) Powers of the heavens shall be shakened.
(5) The sign of the Son of Man shall appear in heaven.
(6) All the tribes of the earth shall mourn.
(7) They shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven.
(8) He shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet.
(9) They shall gather his elect from the four winds.

So you understand fully, please read ALL these references: Matthew 16:27, 28; 24:29-31; Luke 9:27; Mark 13:24-27, 30
