In Sura 18.86 of the Quran, Allah says the sun sets in a dirty pond on earth. If Allah is the creator, how could Allah make such a stupid mistake? Shouldn’t Allah have known the world to be round and the sun does not dip into a dirty pond on earth everyday, unless Allah is not God and the Quran is not from God.

my question here:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AsGuUiLLFC00q9.lcaGR2bDsy6IX?qid=20070217075827AA6GXfe
never made it to the R&S front page.

Half the time it says 'could not process your rating', or the page just times out. I wish god would create larger tubes for the internets.

A 4 legged duck was just born in the New Forest in England.

Apparently it has a 2nd pair of legs other than the pair it runs about on and is happy to use them as stabilisers.

I think it is funny that most Christians call them selves good Christians cause they go to church everytime they are supposed to and that is all they do. Do you realize there is more to being a good Christian. Also Why do you base everything on how people look? Don't you think it is time to stop with this? I am a Christian Man who is kinda fed up with the So Called Believers who Judge me and the the Friends I hang out with. I can't Even walk into a church without getting practically kicked out. I believe in God and that Jesus Died for my sins, I read the Bible all the time (Albeit I cannot quote it very well) and try to live my life the way a person should. Am I a good Christian, I say probably not, although a select few of my friends would say I am an outstanding one. But I really don't believe it. Why should a fellow Christian be Shunned by other Christians, by what I Listen too, How I dress?? Are my Actions not good enough?? Does me helping my fellow man not make me a good person???

I like to take the verses I get each day and sometimes look for the meaning in the way that Christ meant it, like meek, humble and such. Most Bible Dictionarys I have come across just do major Bible terms, and I'd like one that has more common words in a Christian light, especially one online. Thanks once again for all the great help I get on here.

Prophet Muhammud had 12 wives, numerous concubines, temporary wives and female slaves (taken by beheading their husbands), and one of his wives was only 8 years old (Aisha) when he was 52. He even had sex with his wife’s slave at her dismay (out of wedlock).

I condemn abortion (my god does not say anything about abortion)
I feel that, its killing a human and its against humanity, and its worse than sinning, sins might be washed, but this inhumane act cannot be.

When i was very young (About 4) i would quite often 'dream' i was floating up into the ceiling....i would then be 'flying' down the stairs really fast (I could actually feel my stomach drop)....i'd then 'fly' back upstairs, come out through the ceiling again and then literally 'drop' down into my bed with a thud...i'd wake up just as i fell back down...and the the bed would be wobbling as if i had literally been dropped onto it....!!

Has anyone else experienced this...sounds mad but i'm convinced i was actually dropping back into my body as it was so real!!!

I only had it very young and this adds to the theory that when you're young you are spiritually 'open' as society has not yet 'taught' you that things like that 'don't happen'.

Would love to know if anyone else has had this before?

:-)

Zen buddhists are out in full force, trying to get evolution banned, stem cell research banned, and to get Zen meditation periods endorsed in public schools. They've been fighting to have 'In Buddha we trust' put on money and to change our pledge to 'under buddha'. This is horrible! Why aren't people outspoken against this group?
[Hint: the sarcastically challenged need not reply. Hint 2: Think about why evangelical/fundamentalist christianity is a target as opposed to judaism, zen buddhism, etc, in the U.S.]

Some chuches teach a lot about the spirit realm and they can be considered out of balance. No one wants to be considered flakey but there is definatley a spirit realm. Not everything is spirit and not everything is natural. How do we learn the balance? and does the bible say how to do this? If somone were out of balance this could affect all of their social dealings in daily living. People see these "Spirit Filled Christians" and think they are weird but then there are dry Christians who get ignored because their witness is cold. Anyone have any answers?
