I like to take the verses I get each day and sometimes look for the meaning in the way that Christ meant it, like meek, humble and such. Most Bible Dictionarys I have come across just do major Bible terms, and I'd like one that has more common words in a Christian light, especially one online. Thanks once again for all the great help I get on here.

It's called a Lexicon. You can get it for English/Hebrew/Greek. Strong's makes one that's decent, though not always on the mark. I would suggest getting a Concordance along with that, so you know which meaning the word you're looking for is in the verse you are looking at. Hebrew is notorious for having one word with several (sometimes up to 20) DIFFERENT meanings. Example: Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. The word Fear there is NOT Fear.... but Respect. Otherwise that verse would not go well with "God does not give a Spirit of FEAR".

What you are doing is not an easy task if you are trying to remain honest to the original context.

Two study tools that I strongly recommend to you are:
The Companion Bible, which will explain what was meant in each verse, by the orig manuscripts and the footnotes given. It also has appendix for such things as idioms (sayings) so you don't get caught up with those.

The other is the Strongs Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, which will give you each and every word in the Bible, along with the exact translation as it was meant in the manuscripts - it contains a Greek, Hebrew, and Chaldee Dictionary (syriac).
It is an invaluable tool for the student of Gods Word.

Take a look at www.onlinebible.com.
Also, I suggest you discover your local Christian book store where you will find many different kinds of Bible dictionaries from different companies that you can examine before you buy. I recommend the Thomas Nelson Bible Dictionary for general purpose and for something a little more involved the Vines Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Word. Also, you may want to invest in a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of Old and New Testament Words which contains virtually every word in the Bible, provides a matching number which will lead you to the Hebrew and Greek dictionary in the back. The numbering system matches you up with the meaning in English but also provides the original word as it is written in Hebrew/Greek/Aramaic. You can quickly figure it out and you don't have to have prior knowledge of ancient languages to use it. The Online Bible provides many of these items and puts them all in one place but it will take a little study of the online help to really put it all to work. Enjoy!

Try The New Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible
ISBN 0-7852-5055-7 $25
It has the bible sorted out by word in the KJV with a Hebrew and Greek dictionary in the back. It shows all the places a particular word is used.

"Christ" didn't write the Bible. If Jesus existed, he was long dead by the time people made up stories about him. So, the words attributed to him were "meant" by the authors, not Jesus.

Saul / Paul wrote the earlier parts of the NT. The Gospels were written much later and included details not mentioned by Saul / Paul. All of this was decades after Jesus supposedly died.

So basically, you have Jesus supposedly dying, then people forget about him for decades. Then Paul writes stuff about Jesus. Many years later, you have people suddenly "remembering" details of his birth and such. Hmm, yeah right...
