Did the Old Testament laws come from God?

If they didn't come from God, why are they in the Holy Bible?

If they did come from God, why did Jesus try to change some of them?

Did Paul change some OT laws? After reading, this question crossed my mind. The OT says in one of the commandment not to eat pork. Paul says it alright. OT says a person has to be circumcised. Paul says it alright. What do we do in this confusion. Disregard the OT?

I think the religion is crazy.

The Book of Mormon is full of stupid stories. The Bible isn't.

People claim that there are plenty of so-called dumb stories in the Bible, but you have to remember that these stories are all true and that the world was a different place back then.

The physics of the earth were different, which enabled some people to live to 300 years. Also, there was a huge canopy that covered the earth and flooded the entire planet that caused the flood that Noah was in. This dissappeared after the flood, which is why there is no longer enough water to cover the earth.

Also, the earth was new, so God felt the need to intervene more than he does now. This is why you don't see stuff like a parting of the Red Sea.

What do you think of Mormons that make the FALSE claim that the Bible has silly stories in it too, which shouldn't make you automatically assume that both books are false?

Please. The Bible is FACT and HISTORICAL.

The Book of Mormon is a copy

I read in the Koran about the Mahdi. Al Mahdi "The Guided One". I don't know enough about him though. Is he like a messiah or savior? When he returns, will he be Arab or Syrian? Please let me know. Thank you.

Do other christians feel that we shoul bare part of the blame for so many atheist ? When none believers see how we treat others and how our ministers act and how we treat each other in a none christian way looking at it from the out side does this look like something you would want to be a part of. The reason I,m asking this question is that I see a lot of Atheist on here acting out in a way that is not what I would call normal because most atheist will just agree with you or not but most of the ones I see on here are mad about something and it,s very ugly some of the things I see them saying

are so sure that us believers are crazy in believing in God? If I as a believer am wrong(which I am not) what is the worst that can happen to us believers in the end? Now if you non-believers are wrong(which you are) what is the worst that can happen to you at the end of time? Seriously, I don't understand why a lot of non-believers think we the believers are crazy. What is it that us believers can do to help you non-believers?

'I will now give you a description of the manner in which The Book of Mormon was translated. Joseph would put the seer stone into a hat, and put his face in the hat, drawing it closely around his face to exclude the light. A piece of something resembling parchment would appear, and on that appeared the writing.' (An Address to All Believers in Christ, by David Whitmer, 1887, p. 12)

Does the word "generation" not mean generation, when church people are trying to make excuses for one of Jesus' false prophecies?

He said "This generation shall not pass" until he returns in the clouds of glory with his angels, and church people answered by saying "generation" means mankind.

Then why did he also say some of them listening would still be alive when all those end-time prophecies will be fulfilled?

Nice try, church people; but not good enough. Jesus was a little too precise on this prophecy, and your spin doesn't wash.

See: Matthew 24:29-31; Matthew 16:27,28; Mark 13;30,31;
Mark 9:1; Luke 9:27

We can read he created all stars in the sky in just one of the 6 creation days (before you go off on a tangent about how creation days were not the same as our 24-hour days or something hear me out). Yet Poxima Centauri, the closest star to us, is 4.22 light years away, meaning the light we see now was emitted by the star some 4 years ago.

Other visible stars are between 4 and 36000 light years away. Meaning God would have to have created those stars 36000 years before he created earth, or it would not have been visible for another 36000 years. Yet, there they are, we see them every night.

How does God expect me to believe in him if he keeps breaking all the rules?

Its the Year of the Pig in the Lunar Calendar. I just read an article that Chinese immigrants in Islamic countries like Indonesia and Malaysia have to tone down their celebrations because the pig is considered unclean by Muslims. Doesn't this pose a quandary to the HUGE Muslim population of China?
