I too very much doubt the existence of heaven. But if there is a heaven, I think that it would inject a certain justice into our existence. We do not choose to exist and be born into the world, yet we have to cope with all the stress, problems and pain of life. Doesn't sound too fair, does it? It's like being forced to work in a sweat shop. If there was a heaven after this life where we get to feel nothing but pleasure and satisfaction, it would balance things out.

First of all if there is a heaven and if there is therefore a GOD who created man and the universe; do you also then think that he would have created heaven to be boring? If he created man then he knows man better than we know man. There is a passgae in the Bible that says the hairs on our heads are numbered so why would he not know who we are and why we are here. We just need to find that out for ourselves. What can we do the best? Write, paint, good with numbers, take care of others in a hospital setting? who knows just don't give up and pray even though you don't believe. Remember another phrase from the Bible; he wnats us to come just as we are now to him. Don't think you have to change first then come to him; come as you are. The Gospel song "Just as I am." tells it all. First believe then let him show you the answers because no other human being can do that as this is between you and GOD ! No one else!

The concept of a physical heaven, I believe, does not exist. So don't worry.
It is more important that what we call heaven or hell is right here on earth as we live.
We make and live in these according to our actions and behavior.
If we respond to life, its' tragedies and fortunes, we experience life, without the greed to want eternity, because we were too scared or blind, or unaware or lazy to LIVE this present life.

Yeah, I agree. What would I do for all that time. Another interesting point: Heaven - if its exists, which I doubt - must be helluva busy with all these people! I dont' think I would do very well in an overpopulated place.

Don't worry, with your doubt you will never see it and won't be bored. But don't forget you will be hanging around for eternity. The only question is where.

You need to expand your mind a bit more - perhaps live a few more years and perhaps confront death a few times.
I suspect if there was a perceived heaven of your mind it would be very boring but probably more comfortable than the perceived hell of your mind.
But hey it could be what you make it just like life.
Your hell could be paradise and your heaven hell. Get my drift.

Then you will get your wish of not being bored for all eternity. Hell is not a place one once to hang out for all eternity. Do you know what Hell consist of? Here let me tell you:
"the Bible describes hell as a place of torment and a lake of fire. Hell is not here on earth, nor can it be duplicated by anything here on earth. A chemist, who has watched sulfur ( brimstone ) burn, has a little idea as to what hell is like." http://www.mexicobeachcwc.com/hell.html
______________
"Hell is a furnace of unquenchable fire, a place of everlasting punishment, where its victims are tormented in both their bodies and their minds in accordance with their sinful natures, their actual sins committed, and the amount of spiritual light given to them, which they rejected. Hell is a place from which God's mercy and goodness have been withdrawn, where God's wrath is revealed as a terrifying, consuming fire, and men live with unfulfilled lusts and desires in torment forever and ever.
In Matthew 13:47-50 the Lord Jesus tells a parable relating to the judgment. In verses 49-50, the Lord describes the fate of the wicked:
"So it will be at the end of the age; the angels shall come forth, and take out the wicked from among the righteous, and will cast them into the furnace of fire; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
In examining these words of the Lord Jesus we should first notice that hell is described as being a furnace of fire.
Nebuchadnezzar's furnace was heated seven times hotter than normal and is described as "a furnace of blazing fire" (Daniel 3:23).
John the Baptist spoke of "unquenchable fire" (Matthew 3:12)
Revelation describes hell as "a lake of fire burning with brimstone" (Revelation 19:20).
Can we really imagine the horror of which these words speak? Imagine every part of your body on fire at the same time, so that every fiber of your being felt the intense torment of being burned. How long could you endure such punishment? Christ tells us that "there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth." The lost will wail and gnash their teeth from having to endure the most intense pain and suffering they have ever felt as the flames consume them and constantly burn every part of their bodies. And there will be no relief - it' for eternity." http://www.creationapologetics.org/bibqanda/hell.html

Praising God that He even let us in....learning about everything....planting gardens and building things....we have everything to learn about EVERYTHING!! Learning music, playing, singing....colors...other worlds, meeting and talking to everyone....getting to know Jesus...we have no IDEA what God has in store for us! I sure don't want to miss out!! Now, if the only things you are interested in are not going to be in heaven....such as sports, TV,drugs, violence, getting rich....competition....etc etc....then you would hate it in heaven anyway so I am sure you would choose not to be there...which God in His love and mercy will allow you to do.
