Some chuches teach a lot about the spirit realm and they can be considered out of balance. No one wants to be considered flakey but there is definatley a spirit realm. Not everything is spirit and not everything is natural. How do we learn the balance? and does the bible say how to do this? If somone were out of balance this could affect all of their social dealings in daily living. People see these "Spirit Filled Christians" and think they are weird but then there are dry Christians who get ignored because their witness is cold. Anyone have any answers?

Why do you feel the need to balance the Bible with anything? It's old superstition and myth. "Spirit Filled" is just a catchword that doesn't really mean much. There are no real spirits anywhere, just in people's imaginations.

The Bible teaches in Romans 8 and Galatians 5 that we are to live in the Spirit and not the flesh. You cannot balance the Spirit and the flesh because the flesh is enmity with God, meaning that the flesh cannot be reconciled with God. You are either Spirit filled or you are carnal. You cannot pick and choose what you want in a spiritual life---that is being religious and religion never saved anyone. Christianity is not a cafeteria with a rotating menu. Religion is self-righteousness, and it is doomed to failure. Doing what is right in your own eyes will never work with God. The only thing that works for God is total submission to him. God hates sin and will not allow it in his kingdom. This is why Jesus came to us and died on the cross---to relieve us of the penalty of sin, which is death. Any church that does not teach and preach the pure gospel of Jesus Christ, that is to say that Christ died for us, is not a Christian church---it is something else. Any church that preaches salvation by works is not Christian---it is something else. The only balance is total commitment to God and living by his rules. Anytime that a man or woman decides that he/she is going to do it his/her way, then a state of imbalance exists----this imbalance is the natural way and is what got Adam and Eve into trouble and started this whole mess with the devil and sin. Living in sin is living out of balance with God.

It is no different than there being a doctor, mechanic, lawyer, dentist, banker or neighbor who talks over your head or one that is as stupid as a box of rocks.

The fact is there are a whole lot of Christians that are living by faith, trust in God and doers of the word of God who are real examples of Godly behavior.

God is a spirit and He communicates to a person's spirit inside them. As a person reads the word and gets to know God the communication with HIM will grow and the understanding of the spirit realm becomes more evident to you and those around you.

We don't. We should live so much in the spirit realm that in the material world we do things that could be seen as "insane"..
Matter...doesn't.

The problem is just that. Too many Christian's look to the church and it's leaders to "teach them". The answer to any question you have regarding the Bible is to read it yourself, and interpret it yourself.

I don't know, but you should quit jawboning about your "spirits" and invite them to a church event so that everybody can meet them.
