Are ya tryin' ta pick a fight?

I know you just wanna have some fun cause like me, you are sitting at home (for me, the ONE SUNNY DAY of the whole weekend).
So let me guess, you are bored and want to start a fight and get so called Christians to attack you so you can later say how Dumb they are? is that it?
Well good for you.
Have a wonderful day.
And to try and answer your question.
I think if God so Impresses on your heart and Soul, you will converse with Him all the time.
If not, you will just sit there a non-believer.
He chooses you to come to Him, In His time, not yours.
So if you have not been Chosen yet, and you are feeling left out, now is a good time to Ask Him to come into your heart.
Or else it may be too late.
Anti-christ is comming.
This will be a "real person" , controlled and manipulated by the devil.
he will force you to bow down and worship him, if you do not, then he will have your HEAD....hmmm. Nice huh.?
So be Mental, or be True to the One True God, who has given you every opportunity to Ask Him into your heart, oh yeah, He will choose you, but I believe if you so decide, you can atleast ask Him into your heart.
So join all the rest of us Crazy ones, who know without a doubt, that He hears us and listens to us.
Or just continue on your Pathetic, boring path of Sanity.
Good Day.
DJH :)

Well if you have time in your busy schudeual of telling children there is not santa clause stealing lollipops and triping the reatarted. then You might want to go watch the special olympics. When the retarted run a race and one of the runners fall they all stop to help him up.
On the other hand the unnibomber was a genious who blew people up.
Emotion verses Logic. I will pick a balance somewhere in between as do most people. You seem to want to be more like the unibomber. So I say your the one with the mental disorder.

No I dont think so. Just because you hold a belief that is not correct then I dont think you are mentaly ill. I dont believe in communication with supernatural beings, nor do I believe in supernatural beings. I think people who do are wrong - People can be wrong without having a mental disorder!

There is no communication with 'supernatural beings'. So, yes it is a mental disorder, for those who actually believe. For the other's, they are just out for attention. The worst are the liars who will contact your loved ones from beyond, for a small fee. These 'psychics' should be tortured until they confess they are full of s**t.

If it is all but, about 200,000,000 people have a mental disorder (that leaves 6,100,000,000 that must have this "mental disorder"). That means just over 3% of all people on earth don't have this "mental disorder".

The DSM-IV defines "delusional thinking", but is careful to exclude "beliefs that are shared by large numbers of people". I often wonder about that definition, because it seems tailor-made to exclude religious faith. It is an interesting question, and has probably been the topic of more than a few pscychology theses. I'd look into it further, it's certainly a topic worth exploring.

The author of "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" wrote, to paraphrase, that when one person suffers from a delusion it is called insanity, but when many people suffer from a delusion it is called religion. That pretty much sums it up for me.

It is if you think you have been in contact with them. Unless you were high at the time.
It's probably more of a delusional belief than an actual mental disorder

It's usually termed psychoticism.... many mental disorders include religious delusions: Bipolar/Mania, depression with psychotic features, psychotic disorder, schizophrenia, etc.

Mental health folk tend to address this stuff only when people are wearing foil hats, drawing chalk outlines for the ufo's to land, or carrying a weapon.

No, why would it be? 200 years ago you'd have been condemned for hearing noises out of a box, but now we've got the radio, the telephone, all of which challenge physics ... who's to say that we won't communicate in other directions eventually.

I do believe in God who is a supernatural being. He created all things-even satan and his evil little devil cohorts. I don't consider myself mentally ill because of my beliefs. There are millions of people who also believe in Jesus the son of God. He was crucified for our sins and overcame death in His resurrection. People who believe this are very fortunate indeed. They have been blessed by God. Belief is a gift but we have to do SOME spadework to obtain this gift-we have to seek God or ask for His guidance
