Growing in Grace: Followers of De Jesus believe he is Lord
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A native of Puerto Rico, de Jesus, 60, spent his youth drifting from the Roman Catholics to the Pentecostals to the Baptists. Then one night in 1973, he says, he awoke to a vision of two hulking men at his bedside who announced the arrival of the Lord, who, says de Jesus, "came to me and integrated with me." In the early years after founding Growing in Grace in Miami in 1986, de Jesus didn't claim to be Christ. Instead, he worked as a pastor spreading his doctrine: that under a new covenant with God, there is no sin and no Satan, and people are predestined to be saved. But as his following expanded, his claims did, too. In 1998, de Jesus avowed that he was the reincarnation of the Apostle Paul. Two years ago at Growing in Grace's world convention in Venezuela, he declared himself Christ. And just last week, he called himself the Antichrist and revealed a "666" tattooed on his forearm. His explanation: that, as the second coming of Christ, he rejects the continued worship of Jesus of Nazareth.

Mat 24:24 "For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.
He is but one of them.
He is an anti christ.
Anti, meaning against Christ.
There have been others and there will be more.
The ones that do miracles are the ones that will tell you that the time is getting close.
When Jesus shows up this is how it will be.
Mat 24:30 and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.

First of all, there are two guys in Puerto Rico claiming to be "someone" from the Bible.

The one who claimst to be Jesuschrist said to reporters that he was going to "reveal" many things in a TV show, including proving that he is Jesus. But when he appeared on TV last month, he only spoke vaguely about his ministry. He did manage to prove that he is a con artist.

Last week, we found a former Christian Minister who surprised everyone in his church and openly declared himself to be the Anti-Christ.

The second man claims to be the Anti-Christ. To our surprise, most of the church members are still by his side and only a few left. This one clearly said that hell is not so bad, and that he does want the people's money. This is the guy who tattooed the "666" in his body.

Scholars have clearly pointed out recently that there was a mistake in the number of the beast, because 1650 translators wrote 666, when it was supposed to be 616. I wonder what that guy will do when he finds out that 666 is the wrong number.

I hope he repent, at least he is saying the true, that was reveal in his tattoo, I think he did good, been force by all the evil he did accumulate along his life experience, in rejecting Jesus???, If he lives long enough to repent of his last decision at least, I think he can steal have a chance according to God Word's. It's wrong and at least to early to judge him, with out knowing all the facts?

wow, yeah he is not scripturally well-versed, either like Jesus was. In the second coming, Jesus will appear in the CLOUDS (NOT on earth) and take up the dead in Christ first, then the alive in Christ. Yep, definately NOT Jesus. thanks for pointing that out! I defininately agree, this guy is NOT Jesus Christ!
God Bless :-)
