Many arguments put forward by evolution deniers involve either quote-mining or blatant misrepresentation of scientific principles (such as the accuracy of dating materials). These are forms of deception/lying. Even though I'm an atheist, do you think I should go ahead and tell them they are going to Hell for lying?

I think you should tell them that they need to think about how their god feels about them lying. If their god was so great they wouldn't have to lie.

They need to wake up to the possibility of punishment for all these lies they spread about their religion. Isn't that blasphemous?

I think it qualifies only as lying if you aware of the fact that you misrepresent truth.
You can be wrong without lying.
And I don't think you go to hell for pure stupidity or lack of learning.
The corollary seems to be that you better don't invite those people to hell, they may spoil the place for the rest of us....

If anything your going to hell for acts of hatred. I don’t think you understand that God isn’t going to hate anyone that is wrong about what they think. Just the people that Kill or promote hatred like 9/11.

But good luck all the same.

If we truly went to hell for lying, heaven would be a lonely place.

If you did though you would be the biggest liar of all cause you know that hell doesn't exist.

Go for it. Freedom is great we learn or not as we please we believe anything we want. Science is cool but many of the things that are believed fervently today will be modified tomorrow. I like it that way the more we learn the better. I will always question science and hope that it will most certainly question itself. If it does not ... well.

We make our very own heavens and hells, in reaction to what we are taught and have self belief via life. If "hell" is what a individual expects whilst they bypass, then they're going to discover themselves in precisely the region they imagined in life.

You can't save their souls or reason with them. They believe they are saved because they say they are already forgiven. This gives them carte blanche to do what they want -- a moral "Get out of Hell, free" card.

They're already in hell. They are completely immersed in self delusion and that is my definition of a hellish existence.

I'd leave them alone, if I were you. They seem to be happy as they are, and it all reminds me of the old adage about teaching a pig to sing: It wastes your time and only annoys the pig.
