I'm afraid of all the terrorists. The London Bridge is in Arizona. I wonder if it would it be possible to re-locate Jerusalem to a safer locale like Orlando?

Through the pursuit of a belief in one god, wars have been fought, people burned as witches and so called non believers murdered. If there really was just one god, would he force people to follow him. I'm a believer in the Asatru myself which is one such religion stamped out by monotheism. What are your thoughts on this?

I have become a little frustrated with organized religion lately. I am thinking about checking out a Unitarian service. Has anyone ever been to one? Or know anything about it in general?

I've been doing a lot of research on Qabalah [Hermetic], and seem t keep finding myself stuck on Tiphareth.
From my current understanding, it's the gates to higher consciousness [To a Christian, Christ, etc.], but I don't understand how exactly that's supposed to work.

Also, if anyone could supply some good resources, that'd be great. Thanks.

I have no idea where to start. I believe in Metaphysics but most churches are of the traditional Christian type with a lot of social dogma I don't believe in. Maybe I don't believe in it becuase it is not convenient for me IDK, but being a Metaphysics student I do not believe in Heaven or Hell but only in reincarnation.

You conduct tests on nature and gather results. Then you re-test the results with updated knowledge and techniques that improve over time.

can you fit the entirety of God into one humanoid form? If such a thing were possible, then why did Jesus pray? Why wasn't his will alone sufficient to work miracles?

My husband and I would like to switch to a different adult couples Sunday school class at church, but we don't want to hurt the feelings of our current Sunday school teacher and his wife. They are really nice people, it's just that this new class has been formed by some old friends of ours from a class we were in years ago, and we would like to try it out there; as this new class has people more of our own age/same life stage. etc. Someone told me that we should just start going to the new class and not say anything, but that feels to weird. The class we are in right now I am not really getting much out of.

Would you work for a company that had a religious affiliation that you did not? Why or why not? I have been offered a job at a holistic doctor's office/chiropracter's office as a recptionist. They are run by scientologists. I have no religious affiliation, but I'm concerned about them forcing it on me once hired. Any suggestions????

I grew up a christian going to church and reading the bible but as I got older I noticed alot of things I did not like about the religion.

I studied all types of religions for a few years and The Muslim religion is the best fit for me. I think it is a beautiful religion. It tugs at my heart and I feel that it is the best fit for me.

I just want to know from other converts what did you do, where did you go to start your muslim path? I'm mexican and italian none of my family is muslim and they are all against me converting. But I feel that it is between me and Allah not between me and my family as to what religion I choose. My fiance is Yemeni and He is muslim so it helps to have him for support But being a female I would like a female observation to see what they went through the good and the bad. So i can be better prepared myself. I have so many questions but I don't know where to go for answers

If you can Help I would appreciate it.

Was the human part tempted by Satan's offerings in the wilderness? Or was Satan simply wasting his time?
Did Jesus' human side know sins like lust or pride, or even emotions such as romantic love, desire or fear? We know he knew anger, such as the moneychangers in the Temple..

If he didn't, doesn't this mean he was simply fully divine? Wasn't this idea an early heresy?

for example.. the suicide bombers were called 'religious extremists' when their own religion often disowns them - while those who supported 'intelligent design' were called religious extremists (when they might be vaguely agnostic)
that.. and the number of books/whatnot directed against fundamentalists... (christains in particular) when the core of Christianity is 'love thy enemy'
*have you noticed yet that mormons, jehovas witnesses, christian science, theosohphy (new age), scientology, the kkk and wicca were all created by mason affiliates? or that most of the tv preachers (oral roberts, kennith copeland, pat robertson, jimmy swaggart... etc.) are 32-33 degree masons? (when by following scripture, a christain cannot JOIN masonry. drop me a note
