I think probably most people are "accidents" - that is, the parents were not trying to make a baby when they had intercourse.
Kind-hearted parents will never, ever tell a kid that he or she was a mistake. You can say your child was "unplanned" or a "surprise" but even if you didn't want him or her, you shouldn't say so. That kind of thing can hurt a child for his or her entire life.

A lot of them considering that up until recent decades most people didn't use contraceptives. And even in these days; people are still having unprotected sex, so **** happens. But anyway, being born by mistake or on accident doesn't just mean your mother was an ill prepared teen. You could have seriously been concieved on someone's wedding night.

Your parents may not have planned for your birth, however , you are NOT a mistake. God intended for you to be here, and your life has a purpose, you must find out what it is, you are not a mistake, where you are right now is where you are supposed.ordained by God to be!!
God Bless you

I did not want my oldest daughter, thought about abortion. (had one before her, decided I would give her up for adoption, at the last minute backed out) She was unwanted. Let me tell you want she has done with her life. At the age of 13 saved the life of an 76 year old neighbor, she was there for a friend who tried to kill herself, she was raped and almost murdered. Yet now at 29, she is an outstanding person, she has used her life to help others. She based her life on all life is a gift from God and what I wanted would not make her feel she was not worth anything. She could write a book on her growing up years, good and bad. She is very strong and used everything to show the love of God. Two weeks before she was married, her hubby to be was in a car wreck and left him with brain damage. I bagged her not to marry him. She did anyway. She asked me if they were married would I ask her to leave him? I would not have. She was told by doctors if he did not get better by a year he would never get better. It got crazy at their house, but she stayed. In a year he did not get better, but with work in a little over two years, he was much better. They have been very happy for several years. I was wrong not to want her and I was wrong to ask her not to marry. If you feel not wanted, that is okay, everyone goes through that, if your parents show they do not want you, set you life to help others and give it meaning. God will use you to do get things.

I am sorry but I tend to disagree with you. Nothing is coincidence. Everything happens for a good reason. Now, you are the effect, your previous lives are your causes. I am referring to your spirit that survives every each soul's death. Yes, it's karma and reincarnation at work here.
BTW, what thoughts give rise to your interesting Q? Just curious.
