I was using upper case G as a sort of olive branch. But now, I don't really see the point.

You must always spell god with an uppercase G, otherwise you are disrespectful.

God is a proper noun such as a name. When spelling you type a name with a capital at the begining. The G on God is the start of his name there fore should be spelled with a capital from the grammatically correct stand point. Now for the religion aspect, spelling God with a lower case could be taken as offensive although I some times forget to use a capital myself. Doing it on purpose and not seeing the point is like saying the cross never exsisted to some religious people.

I usually spell it with a lowercase g, unless I'm responding to something that clearly indicates they're talking about the "conventional" god that most people are talking about.

I.e., I'll either say "God" or "the Biblical god" to refer to this god. Perhaps I should be more clear, and say "the Biblical god" every time I mean this god. After all, I myself believe there are multiple gods.

I look at it this way: if you're going to believe in one god, you might as well believe in all of them. They all make about the same amount of sense.

I use the upper case with Zeus but I don't always do the same with God.
However it's b/c I'm to lazy to press the shift button.
Anyways I'm not an atheist but the word God is a title not a name so you can use it to refer to other things

Go to the lower case 'g'. In addition, you can laugh at the fundies at the end, because they are going to be let down massively. Just like a good kick in the groin, they are going to have all the wind taken out of their sails. That is what keeps me going and laughing everyday.

You need to be a little more subtle and use some sarcasm, but in limited quntities. The fun is making them wonder about you.

Yeah which god? If the Christian one deserves a capital then so does Zeus, I use the lower case....

Counter every violation they send about you. Don't give in. Last time I checked, this was America, not China.

No, obviously you let it happen. God is still there. It was an evil human that did this to you.
