Was the human part tempted by Satan's offerings in the wilderness? Or was Satan simply wasting his time?
Did Jesus' human side know sins like lust or pride, or even emotions such as romantic love, desire or fear? We know he knew anger, such as the moneychangers in the Temple..

If he didn't, doesn't this mean he was simply fully divine? Wasn't this idea an early heresy?

The duality of Christ's nature, human and divine, cannot be fully and definitively answered. If we could, we would possess divine minds ourselves. That said, we theologians have made progress at trying to understand the concepts of the Trinity of God and God the Son's role in that Trinitarian doctrine.

In short, Jesus's human nature could be tempted. He thirsted, hungered, and at times was full of righteous anger. Yet He never sinned. If He did, we are all lost and God is not God. Christ also was God with all of God's attributes, and these two natures existed in a hypostatic (fundamental state) union.

I doubt I can improve upon the discussion of Christ's dual nature that is found at http://www.carm.org/doctrine/2natures.htm

I suggest you start there to dig deeper into this topic. It is not going to be answered to your satisfaction in this Forum.

Yes, Satan tempted Jesus. But Jesus' human side never sinned. He had emotions and physical sensations (such as hunger, fatigue, etc.)

There was an ancient heresy known as Docetism which believed Jesus was never really human, but just looked human and pretended to eat and sleep and such.

Jesus came as a man in order to fulfill the law of God and to be the sacrifice for sin. He did this as a man. When He resisted the temptations of the devil, He quoted scripture -- as a man. He did not at that time rely on His divine nature when going about His earthly ministry in Israel. As a man, He was tempted and as a man He resisted temptation by relying on God's word. He cast out demons by the Holy Spirit and not by His own divine nature. Therefore, Jesus was tempted in His human nature, not in His divine. He did not rely on His divine "side" to help Him out. Instead, He completely relied on the Father, the Holy Spirit, and God's word to successfully resist the temptations that came to Him.
Jesus could not have sinned, but that He could be tempted; that is, He could have a sinful option presented to Him -- as was presented to God in the wilderness ( Psalm 106:13-15 )-- yet Jesus would not have sinned.

Being fully divine and fully human is so unique that we have little point of comparison or even understanding.

He did know about ALL temptations to sin, yet He NEVER SINNED.

Heb 4:15-16
15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted IN EVERY WAY, just as we are-yet was without sin. 16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
(from New International Version)

His humanity gave Him insight into our weaknesses and so He understands and sypathizes with us.......and continues to love us knowing that we are made of dust.

satan wants the world to have sin so he tempted Adam and Eve and they fell for it...then sin entered the world. but Jesus, which is God's son in human form was perfect.. and he died for us in the cross so we can be saved from going to hell. and the only time you can show anger is if its towards evil.. like those in the temple. Jesus was perfect because He is God.

everybody including God and Christ have the same emotions but Christ's were based on love and all other emotions were kept in check. Christ didn't have lust. I don't consider that an emotion. and pride is what God hates most. It could be considered heresy but i don't think it cause much division . god bless

His humanly side did show during his passage on earth.

You have pointed out anger, he also wept when he learned about lazard's death even when he knew he will resuscitate him.
Some evangelists wrote that he had favorite disciples, he used to take a rest after preaching.....

The Bible tells us that He was tempted in all ways just as we are tempted, except He didn't sin.

Jesus was never God. John 3:16, 17 says that God's Son was sent to earth. God did not send himself. If Jesus were God, WHY would the Devil ask for an act of worship from Jesus? DID HE FORGET THAT JESUS WAS GOD?
