The point I am trying to make is that what if God is so extremely powerful that not only does he govern the "everything" and truth, but he also governs the "nothing" and fiction as well? If that is the case, then that could be that God both exist and doesn't exist at the same time. That could mean that he is everywhere and he is nowhere. Since there is no duality with God, then existing and not existing have the same meaning. If this were true than morally correct atheism as well as morally correct theism shall lead to bliss.

There's a guy I really like a lot. There are mixed signals coming from him. I am not sure if they are mixed signals or just my own wistful interpretation of the things he do. I want to give up on him because I don't think we will ever be together and I don't think destiny is on my side anymore. I want to believe more strongly that God has someone else for me and it is part of his plan that we aren't together. I just want to stop thinking about him and sleep soundly through the night without waking up at 5am thinking about him. I prayed very very hard for him for a few months already but I think ultimately it came to nothing and God just does not want us to be together. The more I pray, the more hopeful I become. And this is bad because I want to forget about him now and all this hope built up in me is bad. I still dream that I still have a chance but I guess not. I want to trust God's plans fo rme more. Valentines' is coming up and it makes me feel worse. Advice please? what do I do?

So, to the ones who are hell bound.
Bring food and musik ok?
Interesting how they are the only ones going...but oh well. Just bring something to do.

My dad forced cristianity on me for the last 13 years and i am tired of it. I practice Wicca ,but have to keep it secret. It is horrible him forcing me to do what religion he is, it should be my choice. I would never force religion on anyone.

Within the ten commandments it is stated not to kill, but all throughout the Bible God murdered. I realize that people will state that God created us, but then does that mean that if I create a clone of myself I can murder it? What then about abortion, if both parties (the man and woman) agree to abort, they created the fetus, then they should have the right to abort it (or what many religious people think of as murder)?

one being pleasant and the other being horrible do you really have a choice? It's extortion.

Answer nicely or I'll bust your knee caps.

The only way to make it to Heaven is through Jesus our Lord and Savior. He died for us and we should be thankful for that.

I asked how I could be more humble to Atheists, and this is one of the responses I got:

"We put up with you and your insane and totally childish credos, so you might take the same approach to us. Read the art of loving by Eric Fromme. Good luck."

I don't even know this guy, nor does he know me.

Stop generalizing.

Jews do not accept Jesus as the messiah because:

1) Jesus did not fulfill the messianic prophecies.

2) Jesus did not embody the personal qualifications of the Messiah.

3) Biblical verses "referring" to Jesus are mistranslations.

4) Jewish belief is based on national revelation.

At the end of this article, we will examine these additional topics:

5) Christianity contradicts Jewish theology

6) Jews and Gentiles

7) Bringing the Messiah

Moses called all of Israel and said to them: 'Hear, O Israel, the decrees and the ordinances that I speak in your ears today -- learn them, and be careful to perform them. The Lord your God sealed a covenant with us at Horev [Mount Sinai]. Not with our forefathers did God seal this covenant, but with us -- we who are here, all of us alive today. Face to face did God speak with you on the mountain from amid the fire.' (Deut. 5:1-4)

The Torah claims that the entire Jewish nation heard God speak at Sinai, an assertion that has been accepted as part of their nation's history for over 3,000 years.

When I read the Bible it sounds like two people commit themselves to one another and are married. If you are living with the person that you are commited to and spend the rest of your life with (but aren't married yet b/c of financial reasons) and are having sex out of Love not Lust...Is it wrong in God's eyes?

Christians seem to mix things up a lot, if you compare what they say as to what the bible says. like virgin birth and genealogy of Jesus, morning star and on and on it goes. What is the Jewish perspective on this matter?

I've asked myself this question often but cant seem to find the answer and I am curious about what other christians think. As human beings living here on earth we are very vulnerable, at any moment we or family members could be killed, die suddenly at any moment. Besides being saved and having an eternal home in heaven, whats the difference here on earth for those who are christians and those who are not. We are all vulnerable to anything, but being a christian doesnt make you safe from what others have to experience, and it seems like most people that are prospering are not christians. shouldnt there be some advantage for christians here on earth. What do you guys think?
