Keep praying to God. Ask God to show you what His will is for you. Not what you are trying to will for yourself.
God's plan does not always make sense to us. But God does do what is best for us. Sometimes that means unanswered prayers.
God Bless.

Remember God does not work in our time frame and often things we think we HAVE to have aren't necessarily what is best for us.
So you have to be patient and see if God allows it to go in that direction. Many people just have to have a certain person and can not see anything past that and then down the road they end up getting a divorce and having other struggles that go along with their bad choice. It is better to look at the whole picture and accept if it doesn't happen. Be yourself and eventually this guy will come around if it is meant to be.
I have wanted to move across the USA for years now and I feel like where I am is getting me nowhere but I know that if I go and the time isn't right then it will not be good at all.
Trust me I know from experience how one bad choice can have
bad results for years to come.

This is 2007 and if you're as serious as you sound, you could stop wasting time and go talk to this guy about it. Another thing you need to do is stop praying and hoping God is just going to magically take over and throw this guy on your doorsteps, it's never going to happen like that. If you prayed as you say, now it's your part to take actions and trust God for his best in the process.

As the Christians I know say, "God always answers prayers...sometimes the answer is no."
As an aside, the time you are spending praying for a single person that probably doesn't give a donkey's behind about you, you could have spent getting out and getting to know people...and perhaps found the person you are destined to be with. God never expected you to pray for a loaf and bread and *poof* its on your plate...God expected you to get out and grow the wheat. (The meaning of the phrase, "God helps those who help themselves".)

i imagine the e book of Hebrews, which includes reflections of Paul per chance, says that Abraham grow to be so stepped forward in trusting god, that he knew God would enhance Isaac from the useless. that is because he had learnt to believe Gods supplies you. Abraham's sacrifice looks initially like a unnecessary attempt. besides the undeniable fact that... easily it is prophetic. Abraham is the right of a covenant tribe, and his son is delivered because God resources his personal sacrifice, an animal stuck in a tree. Mount Moria the position the shape got here about is traditionally referred to as Mount Zion through the Jews, outside of which God's Son, Jesus, grow to be given in sacrifice on 'the tree', so as that we, partakers of Christ's covenant ought to bypass scot free. Cool prophetic image or what? ................ A christian in the adventure that they realize how a lot God loves them, will possibly placed God first as one would. yet we are oftentimes quite tormented by the international round us and so are not any further conscious in our souls of the greatness of Gods love. we may be able to substitute into more beneficial appreciation of God's love as we starting up perceiving issues the way we ought to continually. This takes time with many people.

You need to have faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. The bible says that faith is gained through prayer and suplication.... You should pray and read your bible. Ask God for help to get over the man that hurt you not necessarily to bring him back...You need to learn to trust that God know's what is best for us....and it might not always be what we think we want; we must surrender to God and allow Him to be on the throne our lives.. trust in knowing that whatever God has for you is going to be better than anything you ever expected for yourself. My suggestion to gain this trust and understanding of God's love for us is to buy a Life Application Study Bible.....and READ IT!!! It has helped me tremendously! Good luck! and God Bless you!

For I know the plans I have for you says God,
Plans for good and not for evil
Plans to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29 v 11
Is this person a Christian?
If not the Bible says
Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship can light have with darkness.
Bring every thought captive and give it to the obedience of Christ.

Just keep praying that God will bring the RIGHT person. And, meditate on scripture verses. Recite them. Especially at 5AM.

Just because you want something does not mean that it is meant to be that way. Painful and disappointing as that may sound, it is something that you might have to accept. Sometimes, the answer to our prayers is 'no.'
