I agree that people need to ease up on here. I've been saying for a while that why can't others leave peoples religion alone!! Just because you believe something different from someone else doesn't make you bad or evil, just different. I'm usually lumped into the going to hell group. Since I'm LDS, people think that we are evil, or don't believe in God. We do, but they overlook the name of our church and focus on what they hear. We are evil and since we believe a little different then they do, we are going straight to hell. I hope we can all just learn that we have a right to believe as we do, and no one knows who's going to hell until judgment. Or maybe not at all. Who knows. We never know if what we really believe is going to happen or not. What if we are wrong in the end? Maybe those who say bad things about others should think of that. OH.. If I go to hell, I'll bring the canasta!!!!

According to Buddhism, Hell is a state of being (or state of mind, depending on your outlook). Hell is a place where nothing is right, you can't do anything about it, and you have lost hope.
In which case, I have been in Hell before, and there was NO GOD there to help. That was his last chance, and that was the final proof that God does not exist.
I have never returned to Hell after freeing myself from Christianity and choosing my own path.

I am a believer in God, heaven, and hell. I do not know who is going to heaven or hell. I just hope I am chosen to go to heaven. All the people commenting on who is going where should take care of their own soul. Our God is a very forgiving God, he is the only judge in this case.

I don't believe that the creator of space and time is a vindictive power crazed judge who damns souls to eternal suffering more horrible than any earthly spectacle (that he created as an act of vengeance).
That is medevil dark ages folklore that people choose to delude themselves with for a series of reasons.
I just hope that I sustain continuous conciousness once my body stops working.

To paraphrase Goethe:
"This is Hell, and I am not out of it" (spoken by Lucifer when Faust asked how he'd managed to escape from Hell and come to Earth).
Please, someone bring something else to read. Some Dante, perhaps? Or Milton?
