Either replaced by something else or if religion died out entirely - how long does Christianity have left?

And/or what would be the lethal stroke? Figuring out how life began? Aliens? etc.

The opinions of Christians who think Christianity could never die are not necessary, but of course you are welcome to contribute.

The bible does not say what He did between the ages of 12 and thirty something. I know that in most cases, between those ages is when people make the most mistakes in their life, as well as learn who they are. It is said that Jesus was spreading the word of God, granted, but what else happened to him?

To me its crazy reading these things, to me Athiest are guilty of everything they dislike about Christianity and accuse christians of. You criticize our beliefs and practices, we're foolish to you and you make that clear. You try to prevent us from practicing our beliefs in public...you try to keep christian messages off television out of schools...basically, you act as if your way is the true and only way and you try to impose that way on others and ridicule those who do not share your views, you are not open minded, if it can't be scientifically explained you can't accept it.
You generalize Christians as a bunch of hypocrits but do you recognize the hypocrisy in your own actions?
Personally I don't believe this type of attitude attract people to any point of view whether its christian, muslim, atheist, etc.
That's just my impression from reading alot of questions and answers, what do you think?

interpretation from people who claim to believe the same thing:
The Holy Trinity: 1. 3 Persons Manifested in One God 2. One person taking on three personalities 3. two persons and one force coming from the father

Baptism: 1. Baptism is just a visible sign of receiving Gods grace and becoming a christian 2. Baptism is just a symbol to show Cleansing of sin 3. Baptism takes away original sin

1. It's not needed for salvation 2. It's needed for salvation

1. Infants can be baptized 2. Infants can be baptized but must be baptized again when adults and come to learn the faith 3. only a person who understands clearly what is happening to them and the beliefs they will believe is able to get baptized

Salvation: 1. Onced saved always saved 2. Salvation can be lost even if you believe but commit one mortal sin without repenting 3. salvation can be lost only if you loose faith in Christ

Sin: 1. Sin is impossible to resist due to our human nature 2. Sin is possible

seriously, i mean what does erasing a post really do here?

what they delete it and you may loose points for it? (not sure)

or maybe after enough time someone has to spend a whole 30 seconds to create a new yahoo answers account.

Seriously- its stupid on both ends. I've only reported people who said they were reporting people- religious and athiest/agnostic alike.

Is it necessary to be a freaking tattletale/rat?

I answered another question which inspired to me to post one of my own. I'm going to post part of my answer:

Number one on my list of things that piss me off today: People who who say that we must accept the entire Bible at face value or we are not accepting all of God, or Christ. I don't doubt that the Bible is a guiding tool given to us by God. But why would our Creator give us such amazing minds if he didn't intend on us using them? Why would we be made with such an inherent questioning nature if he didn't want us to seek out our own truths by becoming closer to him and using the gifts that he gave us?

Some people never look past the Bible for answers. But is that what God really intended for us??

Mark 14:21 - "The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed ! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born."
This was how the Lord Jesus spoke of Judas Iscariot, who would betray Him.
Question - if the wicked (including Judas) are annihilated and / or cease to exist after death as some teach, why would the Lord say that the non - existence of never having been born would be preferable to the non - existence of death, if indeed, there is no existence for the wicked in eternity (ie. Hell) ?

I am a Christian. My husband came from a strict Catholic family, but (by his own will) decided to convert to my faith, (I belong to the United Church of Christ). Our faith believes that baptism of babies isn't necessary, but they do it sometimes for parents who wish to. My in-laws insist that my baby will go to hell if she isn't baptized, but I don't believe that at all. If we do go ahead with the baptism, it's only for for them, not me or even my child...so would that be wrong? What would you do?

Would you sit back and do nothing, believing that if the end of the world arrives, then it's been foretold anyway, and you shouldn't do anything about it?

Would you pray to your God(s) to save us?

Is it our own problem that we must solve?

Are we going to be wiped out so that another, more deserving race of beings will take over the world?

What are your own views?

Please quote authentice ahadith or ayaat to support your answer. This question is very serious.

By covering the head I mean leaving face, hands and feet only to be seen.
Similarly face covering meaning leaving hands and feet open only.

Let me quote the Quranic Aayat from Surrah Al-Ahzaab which says face covering is a must, which is the Aayat telling about Hijab:

Oh Prophet Mohammad tell your wives and daughters and the women of Muslims that (when they leave their homes) hang their scarfs/cloths/chaadar (on their faces). This act will prove as a sign of recognition (and differenciation) for them. Then any one will not tease(hurt) them and God is forgiving and merciful.

And the word used in the aayat is Jalabiibihinn , and Jalabiib is the plural of Jalbaab which is the nameof the cloth that woman uses for hijab and covering.

If ghost, demons, and other spirits exsist and are proven of that, then does that in itself prove evoultion wrong? Most evolutionist may think that they don't exsist, but if proven they do, then what can an evolutionlist say? Testing whether they are in exsistence or not is easy by getting invovled with spiritism, and other demonic/satanic practices, because if evolutinlist begin to see unexplain things then that will prove what they belive in correct, unless the have an explantion of there exsistence already.
