I'm not a Muslim, but....

Yahweh is the Jewish name of God that no one is suppose to say. Allah is short for Al Illah, which means "The God" in Arabic.

Alledgedly, Mohammed was born a Pagan Arab, but heard about the Jewish and Christian God while he worked for a caravan. Then one night, he had a dream in which an angel told him, "There is no God but The God." He ran to the Christians and Jews, all excited, to tell them....but they just shrugged their shoulders and said, "Ya, we know." So he went about converting the Pagan Arabs towards worshipping this one God, and the religion developed from there.

if your God is the one who created Adam and Eve, and kicked out Satan from heavens. and sent Abraham, David, Issac, solomon, Moses, Jesus . and sent the Torah and the Injiel (Bible of God). then this is our Allah who created the Hell and heavens.

by reading the old testimony, you will know that your Allah is your God. Also take a look at this Aramaic dictionary (the language of Jesus), type down the word God:
