The bible does not say what He did between the ages of 12 and thirty something. I know that in most cases, between those ages is when people make the most mistakes in their life, as well as learn who they are. It is said that Jesus was spreading the word of God, granted, but what else happened to him?

When Jesus was a young adult he was learning the teachings of god. He was learning in the temple, but most of his learning came from god himself. Jesus was always listening to what god told him. He was also preforming lots of miracles and telling every one about the way of living according to god. He was spreading(preaching) the word god to anyone that would listen. He was the son of god so god was his advisor.

Isn't around 12 the age that he was told he was the son of god? I'm sure it took a few years for it to all sink in and for him to realize that he had a bigger purpose in life, especially knowing that one day he would be sacrificed for the greater good.

I just asked a question that included this--I think he was learning what it's like to be human, and as God, changing his mind from a god of war to a god of harmony, developing sympathy for his creations

Probably masturbated quite a bit as a young teenager, probably then got interested in girls or boys and had a few girlfriends or boyfriends, probably drank too much wine on occasion etc...all the usual things if he was a real person at all... but of course we know he did none of those things being a fictional Bible character.

Excellent question.. I have asked this before to religious scholars and have received mixed answers.

Its interesting tha a whole religion is based on someone who the majority of their life is unaccounted for.

The gospel of Thomas speaks a little on this subject but it was left out.

I recommend the book Lamb by Christopher Moore if you want a light hearted, but still respectful, read on this issue.
