No Christians have answered this one yet?
Why?
It don't make any since, if it don't make since it is because it did not happen that way.
This is one area where I have to look at Christianity and say...um ?

Yep....doesn't make sense.
Either they have the stain of original sin, and have sinned again in their lives (since xtians say no man is perfect) and have fallen short......or, they didn't need Jesus after all.
Can't have it both ways.

Jesus does not show Abraham in heaven.

Matt.8:11,12; Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are there.
They are there with the children that are angry, Abraham is not angry, but those that are must be separaed from him. It would appear the just and the unjust are being resurrected as in Acts 24:15; Dan.12:2; John 5:26-29; Heb.9:27 judgement day.
1Cor.15:22-28,51-53;
Heavenly first for the new heavens, to resurrect the earthly for the new earth.
Rev.20:1-6,12,13 No Satan 1000 years.
The heavenly first resurrected for new heavens with Jesus, to resurrect the earthly for the new earth. 2Pet.3:13; Rev.21:1-5; All made new.

Eph.2:7; 3:21; The world with Jesus is without end. John 3:16; 2 Pet.3:13; All made new. Rev.21:1-5; At end of 1000 years is paradise.

I think he did know him. and the story he told about Abraham being in heaven was just an illustration. Because in Colossians 1:18 it says he is the first born from the dead. Jesus was there talking so he hadn't died yet.
Others were resurrected but not to heaven before him. I have seen other scriptures that say Jesus was the first to be resurrected.
the Pharasees were seeking a way to kill him. so he put someone they knew to be god's friend in heaven.
The rich man represented them and the poor class represented the begger. Most of Jesus storys were illustrations not actual happenings. I mean why would someone go to heaven just because he was poor? Or someone go to hell just because he was rich? Doesn't make any sense.
He was trying to tell the Pharasees, they were not in God's favor.
They got the point they hated him. But he didn't actually break the law in disrespecting them. Actually he worded that pretty clever. The rich man had robes of purple. That is what they wore.

Abraham was told that he would be blessed by doing God's work. Abraham's decendants are Joseph and Mary, so Jesus is like the great (don't know how many times great) grandson of Abraham. But as We look back in time to Jesus' coming, people before Him looked foreward into time to His coming. God told him he would be an ancestor of the coming messiah.

It doesn't matter what I say, but what the Bible says (I am a man, and the Bible contains the oracles of God, who is much bigger than I am).

So what does it say?

Heb 11:17-19 By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac, and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son; it was he to whom it was said, "In Isaac your descendants shall be called." He considered that God is able to raise people even from the dead, from which he also received him back as a type.

So what does that tell us? That Abraham trusted God--faith.
Now look at what it says near the end of the chapter:

Hebrews 11:39 "And all these, having gained approval through their faith..."

Verse 39 shows us that God approved of them because of their faith. God is outside of time, so the blood of Jesus covered their sins, even though he died after Abraham lived.

Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness:

Romans 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

Abraham is in Heaven because he was faithful to God. He served God with his whole heart, mind, soul, and strength. Even though he did not personally know Jesus, the Son Of God, he did have a personal relationship with God the Father. Abraham had to look forward to the cross in faith believing that Jesus would come to this earth and give His life as a once-and-for-all sacrifice for mankind's salvation. We, on the other hand, look back to the cross and, in faith, believe and trust God for salvation through Jesus ,God's Son. Heaven is a prepared place for all who accept the gift of salvation, but in order to get there we have to make plans and preparations. We must acknowledge that we are lost without God, believe that Jesus died for us and wants to forgive us of our sins, confess our sins and ask God to forgive us, and live a pure and holy life. That is what Abraham did. He lived a holy and faithful life, and God rewarded him, not only in this brief time on earth, but for all eternity. That is why he is in Heaven today. It is the law of the harvest. What you plant, you will reap. He is reaping the rewards of the seeds of faithfulness that he planted.

This one is easy to answer, but you need to go back and reread the story of Abraham in Genesis. Towards the end, you will see that God grants Abraham a glimpse of the future and the coming of Jesus Christ through the lineage of Abraham.

Abrahams fears are calmed and he dies a peaceful soal, having seen the promises of God come to pass long before they actually happened.

They hadn't invented the new, more restrictive salvation requirements yet! According to the Jews, one did NOT have to convert to Judaism to be saved - all that was required was that one refrained from idolatry and obey the Golden Rule - a sect of non-Jews called the God-Fearers existed in the Roman Empire; they didn't follow all the rules of Judaism, but they believed in one God and lived moral lives...

When Jesus died He went to Paradise (Luke 23:43) and when He rose He brought the faithful to Heaven with Him (Matt. 27:54-55) Since that time all who die in faith go straight into the presence of the Lord. The unsaved dead remain in torment till the end of the Millennium when they're brought back to life for their final judgment.(Rev. 20:11-15)

When Jesus said, " Before Abraham, I am." He said that to show to the people he was talking with, as the one promised by God in Genesis 3:15 to the Serpent. He meant his duty was foretold even before Abraham was summoned by God for the missions for Israel.

In Genesis, it says that because Abraham believed in God, it was reckoned as righteousness to him. Belief in God and faith in Christ are intimately tied. God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
