and Gods mercy and Jesus as he has given the apostles this permission accepts them to pass it down. 2. Jesus meant this for all his followers to forgive each other and not seek a single apostle to ask for forgivness 3. Jesus gave this permission to the apostles and the apostles are the only ones who are allowed to use this power and may not passit down.
Call No man father ... 1. Your not allowed to anyone father except for God The Father. 2. your not allowed to call anyone father in a spiritual way 3. As Paul said that he was the churches spiritual father all men who are shepherds in the church are allowed tto be called father and Jesus only meant not give the role of God The Father in name to anyone.
When Jesus said: And I say to thee. thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven. And whatsoever you shall bind upon earth, it shall be bound also in

heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose upon earth, it shall be loosed also in heaven.
Matthew 16:18-19
1. Jesus meant that Peter is the learder of the church from this point on and whatever he decided should be new doctorine it will be true (peter passes this on to his predessor as Jesus accpects) 2. Jesus meant that he is the rock and he is the foundation of the church because the old testament calls God the Rock so Jesus is talking to himself
So if we all read the same bible and get all these different interpertations how do we know which one is right? Why not just be part of the church that has been there from the beggining and was founded by Jesus through the apostles... It has not changed is basic beliefs from the beggining as the apostles taught the bible we believe why trust some guy interpertation 1500 years after Jesus and the apostles why trust your own you aren't all-knowing?

You are right in that different people interpret God's word differently. And obviously they cannot all be right. If professed Christians accepted the Bible as God's word, then they should not be contradicting each other. For if they accept doctrines that are poles apart, either the Bible contradicts itself or the professed Christians are contradicting the Bible, yes?
You gave a few examples of different fundamental beliefs. One fundamental belief is that the soul is immortal – hence we hear the phrase "immortal soul." What does God's word teach on this subject? Is the soul immortal?
If the soul is immortal, it cannot die. Yet note Ezekiel 18:4, 20 which clearly describes the soul as dying. Also, Matthew 10:28 where God himself is described as destroyed the soul. Accepting these scriptures, then, we see that the soul cannot be immortal, right?
Well, has God given someone authority to change teachings and contradict scripture? Some people say so. But notice what Galatians 1:8-9 says: even if an angel out of heaven declared to us something different than what was accepted, that one should be anathema to us. Moreover, how can the belief that successors are authorized to change teachings possibly be reconciled with the inspired record found at 2 Timothy 3:16-17? There we read that all scripture is beneficial for teaching, reproving, setting things straight and disciplining in righteousness in order that the man of God may be fully competent and completely equipped for every good work.
For those who feel that the Bible can be set aside, we are reminded of the words of Christ at Mark 7:9. There he told the religious leaders that they adroitly set aside God's word and because of their traditions, made God's word invalid. Never may true Christians be guilty of such!
If we wish to know which group is right, reasonably, we should compare their teachings and actions with those recorded in the Holy Scriptures. It is just as Christ himself said at John 17:17 in prayer to his heavenly father: Sanctify them by means of the truth. Your word is truth.

The Catholic church has changed, popes declare new things throughout the ages. Indulgences were not started by the apostles. No apostle prayed to Mary, or any other saint. Purgatory was not taught by any of the apostles. And none of the apostles, nor Jesus, would have condemned someone to hell for divorce (though the Catholic Church has). Martin Luther showed some of the faults of the Catholic Church, and this is why I cannot be a part of it.

Most Christians that are not cults believe in the virgin birth, the teachings of Christ and the apostles, Jesus, life, death and ressurection! Many have strayed from the basic tenets of Christianity and have neglected parts of Scripture that do not coincide with their own personal agenda. That is why there are differnces in denominations.

The only way you can know which interpretation is right is through revelation from God, and the guidance of the Holy Ghost.

Why be so technical? Why can't we just have a relationship with the Lord, honor Him and love others? That is what the Bible tells us to do!
