We can't help but form a mental image of someone based on his or avatar, questions, and answers. This isn't necessarily an image of the person's physical look; instead its an image of his or her spirit. Who thinks that these mental images are usually accurate?

i am a christian. there are certain things that linger in my mind. so many unanswered questions. i have asked these questions to many nobody could answer them or they just rejected the question saying this is satanic( these are blind believers).
as you read the bible the more confused one gets firstly because its not complete secondly there are a lot of contradictions. and there is no proper records.
my questions that are unanswered are :
1. there is no record of jesus being related to david...i mean how can anyone miss this..there are many places in the bible even new testament that says he is the descendant of david. but no records supporting the same so now people come up with the lineage indirectly conecting mary joseph etc...how did such an info get missed. it should have been recorded..i dont think god wanted that to be a mystery like that in revalations.
2. why was jesus disrespectful of his mother throughout the scripture which is so opposite to the teachings....no space!!!

Will the Jews ever get to have their Law, Torah, their Temple, their city, or is God a Liar?
As long as it is not so, God is a Liar. The bible becomes a big lie. Over 300 references to these three things are all through out the bible. The torah, The Temple, The Holy City Jerusalem.
What is this desolation Dan. Spoke of, that Jesus said to read?

Normally we forget to listen to others, we want to convey our opinions first. Same is the case when we deal with god. We Keep on asking, but wont listen what god wants to tell us....what do you think.

regarding our "code of conduct", if its ok to put up cut and paste answers.

The Christian threw out his challenge flag, suggesting that there are many questions asked that are meaningless,

The ruleing on the field was given by Mayor Darwin that cut and paste answers violate the Religion and Spirituality Section Code of Conduct, and praise was given for asking a rhetorical question.

What say you regarding the challenge given by the Christian, do we overturn the ruleing on the field, and penalize ourselves as Atheists for asking rhetorical meaningless questions, or does the ruleling on the field stand, and do we take away one of the timeouts from the Christians?

Hi, I lost my mum not long ago and have been really missing her, she often left me cards saying she will walk with me for eternity and stuff like that - I had a dream last night that my mum was at the end of my bed smiling at me and that she was happy she looked radiant, is there a possibility she visited me - I want honest answers please as it is all so strange. When I tried to reach out to her I couldn't touch her arm it was like water, and then she went.

My crazy mother didn't know whether to be atheist or agnositc- but I know darned well that there's a nasty taste to the word "athiest".
Think about this- I dson't believe in a personified entity, but I have strong spiritual beliefs and honor the mystery of Universe, and sometimes it is best expressed through Taoism.
But I do not adhere to any one system.
I refuse to be called an atheist, because of its connotation.
Are there any words for this in English?

Pasted from an earlier answer of mine to another question:

"Soul" refers to the complex ZPF wavefunction associated with the particular instantiation of a constellation of matter-energy events comprising the phenomenal manifestation of an individual. In panexperientialist terms, the "soul" is the experience and conditional self-determination of this wavefunction in its multidimensional polarization and superposition with other ZPF wavefunctions.
