i am a christian. there are certain things that linger in my mind. so many unanswered questions. i have asked these questions to many nobody could answer them or they just rejected the question saying this is satanic( these are blind believers).
as you read the bible the more confused one gets firstly because its not complete secondly there are a lot of contradictions. and there is no proper records.
my questions that are unanswered are :
1. there is no record of jesus being related to david...i mean how can anyone miss this..there are many places in the bible even new testament that says he is the descendant of david. but no records supporting the same so now people come up with the lineage indirectly conecting mary joseph etc...how did such an info get missed. it should have been recorded..i dont think god wanted that to be a mystery like that in revalations.
2. why was jesus disrespectful of his mother throughout the scripture which is so opposite to the teachings....no space!!!

Many of the records of genealogies where destroyed for the Old Testament Israel during the exile to Babylon. Then there was also the total destruction of Israel by Rome. And if you want a brief geneology look in the New Testament: Matthew 1:1-17 and Luke 3:23-38 give the genealogy of Jesus. Matthew recorded Joseph's lineage, while Luke gave the family tree of Mary.

The bible is complete as to what God has revealed to us. There are no contradictions in the Bible only the people who do not know how to interpret them think there is. You do need a authoritative and authentic interpretor which is the Church Christ gave us. The Holy Apostolic Catholic Church.
The lineage of Jesus is in the Bible But remember He was from the beginning.
Jesus was never disrespectful to his Mother for He cannot go against His own nature.

Answer to question #1. Matthew chapter 1 verses 1-17 record the genealogy of Joseph from Abraham through David to Joseph in descending order. Luke chapter 4 verses 23-38 record Mary's genealogy in ascending order from her father Heli to David to Adam to God Himself. Answer to question #2. Jesus was never disrespectful to His parents. If you wish to comment on Scripture, I would respectfully suggest that you READ IT first.

first of all be careful making bold statements like: there are contradictions and no proper records. The Bible is a record. Matthew and Luke both have the geneology of Jesus all the way back to Adam. You may not accept this as an answer, but it is.
Jesus was not disrespectful to his mother by the standards of his day. When preaching, he caused a big stir and his mother and brothers came to bring him home. This is where he said, "who is my mother, and who is my brother. Only he who does my father's will is my brother and mother." this is not disrespect. It is the truth. Jesus is and was God. His morallity is not to be questioned.
