I've just been scanning some of the religious questions asked and answered on yahoo answers. Some of the quotes made by various people as coming from "The Bible" come across as illegal to me in this day and age of the Politically Correct and Tree Hugging brigades. Am I just another confused soul who thinks that if this book had been written today the authors would be spending a vast amount of time defending law suits?

Just lets assume that for a minute.

When there is njo God, believers wasted their time and money to believe in God. A big loss.

When there is a God, and I live my life not believing in him, thus not wasting time and money; so when I die, and in my afterlife I discover there is a god, so where the problem ? He never sent me an e-mail on my earhtly life, so he would not blame me, as he is forgiving, right ? I owuld just tell him, well Dear Mr. God, you let me choose not to believe in you. So wheres the party ?

For me its less risk, not to believe in God, and spend my time and money better.

I have 2 solid reasons that there isn't a god listed below and I am looking for some concrete reasons there is a god.

1) God created man. Well then who created god????

2) God is watching everyone right now. How is he watching me at my computer and watching you typing your answer all at the same time????

Someone prove me wrong...Thanks

Soil needs worms, slugs, snails, rodents, and weathering in order to mix the soil. Soil is a combination of decayed organic matter and minerals.

The minerals could come from rocks that were created under the "Earth" category, but what about the decayed organic matter?

If God made the earth before he made plants, and made plants before he made animals (slugs, snails, worms, rodents, etc) how did the soil sustain life? Any gardner will confirm that these living organisms are necessary to make the soil fertile.

hows this for a numerology lesson:
The official title of the pope is "Vicarius Filii Dei", which translated is, "Representative of the Son of God". To confirm, the Catholic newspaper Our Sunday Visitor of April 18, 1915 wrote: "The engraved letter on the pope's Mitre is as follows: 'Vicarius Filii Dei '". Since in Latin certain letters have numerical values, we only need to add them up to come to 666;
