They are two different books. Both considered holy to their followers.
In the Bible there's different books in the old and new testament.
The Qu'ran it's only one book.
Both of them say that, there's only one God.
The Bible was written before than the Qu'ran.
The Qu'ran says thatat Jesus is only a prophet, and th Bible says it's our Lord, the Son of God, God himself.
And may other differences, yet to find out.

The principle difference between the bible and the qu'ran is that throughout the bible, the prophets of old testify of a Redeemer that should come into the world and sacrifice Himself for the sins of the world. Then it details the life of that Savioir and how we can follow Him according to our own free will.
The qu'ran on the other hand testifies of a series of appearances of an angel to the prophet Mohammed, in which he chronicles that there will be no Redeemer and man must be punished for all of his own sins, and that Allah, is the one and only God and that none can share His glory.

A couple of prominent ones are as follows:
1.The Bible is accepted to be a canon written by a number of people from the very people who believe in it. 2.And there are editions of the Bible. 3. Very few people actually know the original script of the Bible canons, most people dont bother to know the originals.4. In practice: people are not taught to memorize the Bible.
1.The Quran has never sparked a debate within the muslim community like that. The majority agrees that the Quran has been the same since its revealance.2.The Quran does not have any editions. Only translations. 3. Muslims feel the need to know at least some Arabic, theyre educated to know and read the original script. 4. In practice: muslims are taught to memorize entire chapters of the Quran.
These are hard facts without any opinion.

expensive Claire P, i individually choose that providing you with this answer replaced into worry-free, yet there is not any straightforward answer. there are various similarities interior the classes, merely as there are various modifications interior the interpretations. My advice is which you come across somebody knowledgable interior the Bible (in case you your self are no longer of direction), and somebody knowledgable interior the Qu'ran (back in case you your self are no longer) and ask them to spend a while discussing those books with you. A truer and honest answer heavily isn't found right here because of the fact it would be labour in intensity to checklist the modifications on yahoo solutions.

You mean other than the fact that they are entirely different books?
They tell a few of the same stories, but other than that, there is no similarity at all. Teh Qu'ran has no separate old and new testaments, no Gospels, none of the letters of Paul, none of the Old Testament books as in the Bible. It's a completely separate work.

The major differences are the perception of Jesus, and that Mohammad is not in the Bible at all. There are lots of differences, but these are key differences worth noting.

The divine lesson of selfless love is the essential similarity. All differences are secondary. The true Muslims are as saintly as the true Christians.
