Naturalism is any of several philosophical stances, typically those descended from materialism and pragmatism, that do not distinguish the supernatural (including strange entities like non-natural values, and universals as they are commonly conceived) from nature. Naturalism does not necessarily claim that phenomena or hypotheses commonly labeled as supernatural do not exist or are wrong, but insists that all phenomena and hypotheses can be studied by the same methods and therefore anything considered supernatural is either nonexistent, unknowable, or not inherently different from natural phenomena or hypotheses.

Naturalist may refer to:

* A scholar or student of natural history, the science of the natural world; see also natural science.
* An atheist who believes that the world can be understood through the physical. A believer in the philosophy of naturalism.

I am all about Natural History... it gives me hope.

edit: I truly agree with your additional data... though, I will not reiterate.

Being a Naturalist myself, I have a sense of harmony with All...
the supernatural/ quirky/ magical elements of Nature are like sparkles on diamonds or in a drink. They are glories.

I would concede a possible titilation for the mind and body. It may appeal to some at the soulish level(mind, will and emotions)

However, it is my contention that the Spirit can only be regenerated and made alive through a personal relationship with our maker. It is my belief, that Jesus, is our maker and is God, Himself.
