Pasted from an earlier answer of mine to another question:
"Soul" refers to the complex ZPF wavefunction associated with the particular instantiation of a constellation of matter-energy events comprising the phenomenal manifestation of an individual. In panexperientialist terms, the "soul" is the experience and conditional self-determination of this wavefunction in its multidimensional polarization and superposition with other ZPF wavefunctions.

Eso_uk -- ROTFL. Thanks for your candor. I assure you, there's meaning somewhere under there.

Well Travelled -- It certainly has speculative elements, but those speculative elements arose in response to observed anomalous phenomena of correlation across cosmic scales.

I don't know who wrote that -- but it appears to combine actual scientific facts with pseudo-science, as well as include unproven facts, so I would consider it a bunch of meaningless mumbo-jumbo.
The scientific FACT is that the word "soul" as used in religion and in common usage HAS no scientific definition. Science now can mostly explain the concept of "self" that people have in terms of brain functions, as more research is done they will do better at it, but they don't bother with the concept of "soul" since that is entirely a religious and mythological concept.

Hogwash! Multidimensional polarization - something like God draws (electromagnetic) us to Him. Superposition is God in me.
In Genesis 3 - Adam and Eve ate of a fruit and the eyes of their soul was opened to know good and evil like God. Until this time Adam and Eve knew no evil. The Bible says they immediately clothed themselves and realized they were naked. Until that time they didn't care about being naked. Some say they were clothed with light as is God but once they knew good and evil the eyes of their soul was opened. When they heard God in the garden they hid from His presence. The sense of guilt was immediate in them. Originally they had a fixed moral nature like God, but now it was fixed on sin and disobedience and not righteousness. Their conscience, their soul knew right from wrong but now it was fixed on sin. They knew good, but were unable to do it; and they knew evil, but were unable to resist it. Under this Adamic covenant the serpent was cursed and God promised redemption through the seed of the woman. Also the earth was cursed and childbirth pain increased. Labor, pain, sorrow and physical death became part of their life now.
Knowing good and evil in the soul is having a portion of God in us. Or a signal to God in us that He can calculate or read. The Bible teaches that God knows our thoughts.
What do you think of this definition of the soul? I'm just having fun with your wordy definition of the soul. Love your definition.

Sounds like a poor attempt at Aristotelian metaphysics and not overly scientific.

I know that some scientific research did reveal that some kind of electro-magnetic field surrounded people and it was reported in the press that this was evidence of the human soul.

It takes away from the true essence of soul,''an internal attunement to natures vibrations and the oneness of kin''.

Matter-energy wavelengths? - kind of like photons in light? Interesting to think about.
