regarding our "code of conduct", if its ok to put up cut and paste answers.

The Christian threw out his challenge flag, suggesting that there are many questions asked that are meaningless,

The ruleing on the field was given by Mayor Darwin that cut and paste answers violate the Religion and Spirituality Section Code of Conduct, and praise was given for asking a rhetorical question.

What say you regarding the challenge given by the Christian, do we overturn the ruleing on the field, and penalize ourselves as Atheists for asking rhetorical meaningless questions, or does the ruleling on the field stand, and do we take away one of the timeouts from the Christians?

Should the Agnostics be the one to review from the booth?

If "copy and paste" is a violation for a religious text, is it also a violation for wikipedia, or any of the other reference sources people often use?

If taking from a source is a violation, why does the YA fill in form include an entire field just for the purpose of listing your sources?

Or a box to take you to the Internet or Wikipedia so you can get the sources to copy and paste?

Sorry, but on this one, I think the ruling has to go to the C&P crowd. Too many things in the YA form favor allowing C&P.

(And yes, it is annoying - especially when it is 5,000 words long and totally off the subject)

Upon reviewing the play, there is no conclusive evidence to overturn the decision to cut and paste answers. The Christians are charged a time-out.

A rhetorical question is by no means meaningless. The fact that its possible answers make people uncomfortable is a very GOOD reason for asking it.

Can we quasi-pagan quantum-religious nuts play too?

When you have the knowledge, or think you do, supply an answer. This is, after all, Yahoo! Answers. Cut and pasting irrelevant bits and bobs, whether from the bible or "A brief history in time" when all you're trying to do is convert or demean, well, that kinda sucks...

Agnostic Answer: Everyone has a right to ask the questions they want to, whatever the point of them be. Everyone has a right to answer questions as they wish too, whatever their own motivation. Freedom rules!
