Either replaced by something else or if religion died out entirely - how long does Christianity have left?

And/or what would be the lethal stroke? Figuring out how life began? Aliens? etc.

The opinions of Christians who think Christianity could never die are not necessary, but of course you are welcome to contribute.

Christianity is the strongest belief and the one that has existed the longest. Just because you want to remain a fool doesn't mean that the world should become one, too. Besides, Christainity will die out when we get raptured out of here. wait, no it won't people will still be converted from all the realizations of the prophecies coming true. but that will only be for 7 years. you do know the tribulation period- right?

hmm.. 'lethal stroke'.. i'd say a rapture - for a moment.. which would wake ppl up a bit more.. and then this 'maitreya' antichrist would lead islam to attack whoever then becomes Christian. (and eventually the jews would get the idea)

you do know that the antichrist is going to convience ppl that he's a good guy, right? what better way than to go after the satanists ;)
dumb puppets. there's an agency that puts yours to shame ;P

A long time. There are still Christians that won't accept the Earth is round because the faerie tale they read says it isn't.

Lab created life isn't all that far off. It will eliminate an argument they have, but it won't shake them. They will just accuse science of playing god. Alien contact is likely to happen even in our lifetime since SETI is working so hard on it, but it will be very slow message to message and will take a while to be able to ask a question and get an answer. All they would do is try to convert them.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I do see some change starting to happen and I think they will get a whole lot smaller in numbers. But they won't go away anytime soon.

It will probably take about 190 years for Christianity to die out, I think what will do Christianity in will be when science figures a way to get people alive indefinitely.

A French man named Voltaire used to think just as you do. He even made this claim about the Bible, "One hundred years from my day, there will not be a Bible in the earth except one that is looked upon by an antiquarian curiosity-seeker."

One hundred years later Voltaire was dead and his own press and house were being used to print and store Bibles by the Geneva Bible Society.

One hundred years from the day of Voltaire's prediction, the first edition of his work sold for eleven cents in Paris, but the British government paid the Czar of Russia one-half million dollars for an ancient Bible manuscript.

How long for you to stop asking stupid question like this........why are you so concerned with Christians anyway. There are a million other religions out there but you want to POINT us out! ...... I mean why dont you sit in your house and wait huh??? ....... waste your life waiting for something to happen that never will hun ur very smart.... or you dont know when its going to happen. Id be pissed off at my self if i have nothing to do with a certain religion, but want to focus on it so much............. very pathetic. But to answer your question Christianity will still be here after you die ......... so you have nothing to worry about after that.

It's been around since Jesus was here about 2000 years ago.
It has survived persecution from the largest Empire in history (Romans). It has survived attacks from muslims, corrupt kings, even corrupt leaders within (anti-popes).

If it can survive all that, what makes you think it will go away?
