What makes you say you're liberal? You do abide to the bible, right? But how about stuff that talks about crimes' punishments (Which are sometimes pretty harsh, compared to the size of the crime). Also, if you're liberal, does that mean you accept people who, most strict or fundamentalists won't, such as homosexual people (For example)?

Pretty much like Jurassic Park!

That way we could all buy our personal saviour, couldn't we?

Or perhaps we could actually eat his flesh and drink his blood, instead of that lame communion waffer and bland wine!!

How about it?

I am the leader of our sign language group in my church. A new youth leader has been appointed, and I can't stand him! I know that sounds terrible, but he just will not cooperate! We are supposed to be working together, but he just will not. He is childish and immature, and he constantly undermines me. I have smiled and gone along when he changes programs and schedules without talking to anyone about it, he has cancelled standing scheduled events that were planned b4 he was put in his position, and not he is goofing off in my sign language groups. He is 21, but acts 10. He laughs at the kids trying to learn sign and he moved a scheduled concert up one month to accomodate himself! I'm at my wits end! I know my feelings are quickly turning wrong. I have spoken with the pastor, but it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. I've even thought about resigning and finding a new church. I really need prayer for God to help me (and him) in this. Should I leave, quit, or let him keep running over me

Okay let me explain. Christianity, Mandeism, and Islam are sects of the Abrahamic faith, basically. I mean christians, muslims, jews, etc.. all essentially worship the same God with almost the same personality.Only a few things differ in their holy books.

The original christians were born jews. Muhammad was heavily influenced by jews. My point is, I've seen tons of jews on here blaming christians and muslims for their problems. But didn't their hebrew ancestors kill millions of pagans to spread their spin-off religions?

i'm 15 so please be nice, but i'm just curious.

When people are arguing against islam, they often say that islam means Submission as if this somehow proved something. i want to clarify that it is submission to Allah (God), and not to any person. Thats why a muslims is one who submits to God. Why is this offensive? did you think it meant to force people to submission? if so, after reading this do you still believe that?? thank you and please no disrespect

they had no idols, they had yearly animal sacrifices (usually a young bull) and there's an alter called the Temple of Heaven stands to this very day in Beijing. Oh one interesting trivia. The first person who introduced idolatry was stuck by lightning.

If we hold the belief that we are all Conscious beings, then we can easily deduct that -Thought- is a mere construct of that Consciousness.

Then, if we also believe in the idea that everything is a form of a singular energy field (an idea within quantum physics), we can easily deduct that -Consciousness- is a mere construct of that Energy.

And further, if we are to believe that there is a Divine origin to everything that is (we could call this God), than we should easily deduct, and see, that the Divine (God) is that which we call Energy, Consciousness, and Thought.

So, if we are to believe these deductions, then could there possibly be a Divine Pattern within every -Thought- that we hold in "our" Consciousness?

All Opinions Welcome! =D

(I know that some of you won't hold ANY belief in what I have just said, which is completely fine. But I would ask that you keep any negative comments to yourself. Please be constructive in any criticism. Thanks)

Oprah's big "The Secret" program really annoyed me. What do Christians, clergy or others involved in religion or church have to say about this "new" idea?

"The Secret" is a DVD you can buy to "discover" how to receive love, joy, happiness, have a happy marriage, get out of debt-
"The Secret" as the law of attraction, which is the principle that "like attracts like." ..."the most powerful law in the universe," and says it is working all the time. "What we do is we attract into our lives the things we want, and that is based on what we're thinking and feeling,"
(it has nothing to do with God or religion- this woman "discovered" the NEW concept) IF you buy the DVD you can learn all about forgiveness, positive thinking, letting go of the past, and how "the choices we make are fueled by our thoughts—which means our thoughts are the most powerful things we have here on earth."

And "everything in the world is made up of energy, which is controlled by [our] thoughts and feelings."

Muslims in Europe and the US are always preaching that we should be more understanding and tolerant of their religion. Yet there are no Christian churches in Saudi Arabia, a non-Muslim can't even VISIT Mecca (a very large city), and it's against the law to even be seen with a Bible in Saudi Arabia. Isn't that a double-standard?

Just a quick survey. If you choose to believe in the big bang, please briefly explain why. Same goes if you don't believe in it. If you believe God or something caused the big bang, then explain, and your opinion will agree/disagree with both sides.

Thanks for sharing your opinion with me; I don't want a huge debate or argument over this either.

By the way, I don't believe in the big bang.

I need to see if anyone can answer this.I see demons. Now,before you judge me ,let me explain....I see the demons that look like you and I.I can see the evil on people.I do not want to see these things, but that doesn't make it go away. When the person lets the demon out ,it is usually only for a second.I believe everyone could see this if they would look.I just wanted to see if anyone else sees these things in people? Can anyone else see the evil in people.See it in their eyes,to see their face change when the demon comes to the surface?Am I the only one out there that sees this?
Please answer me back and let me know what you think......
And please ,serious answers ,ok???
