What makes you say you're liberal? You do abide to the bible, right? But how about stuff that talks about crimes' punishments (Which are sometimes pretty harsh, compared to the size of the crime). Also, if you're liberal, does that mean you accept people who, most strict or fundamentalists won't, such as homosexual people (For example)?

Well here I am, yes of course I except people for who they are not their actions...Jesus said to love thy neighbour....he didn't say but not the gay ones......I don't know if I agree with the lifestyle...but at the end of the day....I am not worried about it....what I do worry about is the hatred in this world, I worry about children who are being objectified or worse..I worry about the world my son will be left with aand because of that I believe we have to stand for some morals and really try to make an effort to live together with out hate.....I believe that God gave everyone free will...but I also believe in praying and using wisdom.....I also recall Jesus saying let those with out sin cast the first stone...i see a lot of stone casting in the Christian fundamentalist world...not to say it is all bad...i am a Christian...and I try to live according to the will of God....but I just believe the will of God and the will of man..can be two very different things...Jesus taught us love....so I try to live by that love and understanding...

I don’t consider myself a liberal or conservative Christian, merely a Christian, a follower of Christ. I believe it is a serous mistake to try to tailor Christianity to fit a political party. It will be your Spiritual life that suffers. The Spiritual should always remain above the political.

I think the real division is between those who take the entire Bible literally, fundamentalists, and those who look at Spiritual growth as a journey and understand that meaning may go far deeper than any literal.

Liberal means free. I think the liberals can forgive what YHVH said was an abomination. (sounds stupid to me. If you are playing His way, you are going by His rules) The Creator made about 7 different promises to mankind. Some might have been conditional, but most weren't. Some of His rules concerned the temple, and there is no temple. Some had to do with His kingdom (before they insisted on a human king) and that situation is not current. (does that clarify anything? it does get a bit tricky is spots)

Yes, we abide to bible, but we also make our own judgement on different topics such as crimes and punishment, and personally I accept people for who they are gay, straight, or what not.

Liberal?? Just pay attention to the two words, liberal and christian. You are christian because you follow Christ's teachings and you repent and accept Him as your savior. Now the question any person that considers him/herself christian should be, if i am a follower of Christ then are the things which i chose to do, or not do, Godly?? It's simple as to put it down in this cliche phrase: What would Jesus do?

The ones I know don't call themselves liberal Christians - they're just NOT fundamentalists - Christ was a liberal.

They take the old testament with a pinch of salt and consider it the work of man.

Jesus is a moral teacher just as much as he is the son of god.

If God is the God, then why isn't he alone helping those, that you think are unlikeable? why would a God save you, although almighty over everything that you see are real? I accept them who seduce animals, and no wonder you must love them/.
