I have a collection of about 4,000 albums in various formats (CDs, LPs, MP3s). Sometimes, I think it's ridiculous, but I wouldn't be able to find a single one I'd be willing to give up.

Anybody else similarly addicted?

1Co 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

Eyes have seen the garden of Eden.

the pastor at my church says that since i cannot forget an incident (the murder of my sister) that i have not truly forgiven the person who killed her. and we all know you can't get forgiveness until you give it fully. so what do you think?
I don't mean not think about it, she says you have to FORGET it.
looney or not?

Do these lyrics just about sum up Christianity? (Awesome song btw)

"He sewed his eyes shut because he is afraid to see
He tries to tell me what I put inside of me
He's got the answers to ease my curiosity
He dreamed a God up and called it Christianity
God is dead and no one cares
If there is a hell I'll see you there
He flexed his muscles to keep his flock of sheep in line
He made a virus that would kill off all the swine
His perfect kingdom of killing, suffering and pain
Demands devotion atrocities done in his name
God is dead and no one cares
If there is a hell I'll see you there
Your God is dead and no one cares
If there is a hell I'll see you there
God is dead and no one cares
If there is a hell I'll see you there your God is dead
God is dead and no one cares
And no one cares drowning in his own hypocrisy
And if there is a hell I will see you see you there

Burning with your God in humility
Will you die for this?"

God cannot be a fact. A fact is something that is taken to be true because of proof. If you belief that God is real, it's because you have faith. Faith, by definition, is belief in the absence of proof, so God cannot be a fact.

faith = no proof
proof = no faith

Please only answer this you read my questioned called Christians?

How can Christ love everyone when he sends some to hell?
IF he relally wnated all to be saved, he would make them believe in him. after all, he made us Christians. The scripture says we are spiritually dead, it is the holy Spitirt that brings us to him. the dead cannot get up and live of themselves. therefore it must be God that makes us live.
So i say again, if God wanted all to be saved, they would be. after all he is almighty. So why say God loves you to unbelievers? if he did he would save them.

There are all sorts of faiths out there and every adherent to each particular faith claims that theirs is most certainly the right path. Many can point to holy texts which proclaim themselves the sole beacon of truth amidst a sea of garish impostors. What merits lending more credence to one proclamation than another? What makes you think that you "got it right"?

Is it a personal preference? Is it how well a faith fulfills a function in ones life? Is it how persuasive a case the faith has made for itself in comparison to the others? Is it based on shades of probability? How does one determine which ultimate truth is THE ultimate truth?

Luke 12

[Jesus says:]

49"I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! 51Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. 52From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. 53They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law."
