so lucky as to be given the true word of god, i.e. the holy bible. Don't those browns and yellows realize how silly they are with their muhamads and their krishnas and buddhas? Ha! Laughable!

According to my guru there are three stages of mind: JAGRATA(CONCIOUS),SWAPNA(SUB- CONCIOUS),SUSUKTI(SUPER CONCIOUS).When we meditate we can reveal through all these three stages according to the concentration power. So my question is whether i 'm getting self realized.

Ok, first of all, I'm not atheist, I am a Roman Catholic Christian...
So I'm wondering how could a couple, if the man/woman or both were atheists, could get married? I mean, even if they're not in one of world's religions (and even Scientology or cults) and they don't believe in a "higher powerful supreme being" how can they tie the knot?

Think of all the nations of people murdered on God's orders so that the Jews could have the "Promised Land"... Not just the men, but the women and children (and for some odd reason, often the cattle as well!) Either it is morally wrong to commit genocide (and God's orders were evil), or it is not wrong to commit genocide (so we should lay off Hitler). If genocide can be right, then there is no morality in the universe and up is down, left is right, and darkness is light...

Didn't He know the book (the Bible) was going to be around for a long time? Didn't he have any foresight?

or perhaps...

Do you think its possible the editors cut the progressive stuff out because they didn't understand?

my God came by birth by human being, with blood all over him and crying?
my God was too weak that his mother was feeding him, teach him how to walk, dresses him up, and clam him down when he cries?
my God went to the bathroom? (God forbidean)
my God was tortured and killed by the people he creates?

The coursework in school shows scientists who believe in evolution as the origin of species. A friend of mine, who is actually known as the smart one in the class, says that the current theory of evolution has several gaps in it that have not been fixed.

My friend has caught several mistakes the teacher has had before, but all in all the teacher is the one in charge. I don't need to know who you think is correct, just please answer this sincerely:

Is the current theory of evolution right for sure, with no little gap or problem in its details?

Ok so my girlfriend is a very devote Christian, however her parents have no religious affiliation or beliefs. She thinks they're going to go to hell when they die.

My problem is that her parents are great people. They came to America, and created a good life for her and her family. They also have sponsored many others in her family to legally immigrate here. They have given up much, and continue to be selfless.

I have a hard time believing that God would send good people that have done much good to hell.

If so, does that imply one should critically examine even his religion?

If not, might one follow an incorrect religion?

Whats an aspect of your religion have you had to examine to make sure it's true?
