YOU ARE WORTHY ALREADY. I wish there is a way to scream it louder.

What would you do if you found some things you do not care about in your home? You would get rid of them immediately of course; you do not wait for someone else to tell you what to do. If you don't matter to God, so would He have removed you. Whatever exists is there on account of God's love for it. Maybe this then gives you an idea what UNCONDITIONAL LOVE of God means.

This means that no matter what you are or how lowly you think of yourself, God loves you without reservations. It is when our human mind does not fully comprehend God's unconditional love for us that we think of Him in human terms; we humans can only love things that agree with us, all others we hate or do not care about. But with God, all creatures enjoy God's love else they would not exist. This implies too that nothing and no one is holier than another because God's love for the wicked is the same as for the kind-hearted. What differentiates us is the degree of spiritual development.

My comments are strictly opinion.

I believe that the common threads of different religions gives us a hint about these things. The Ten Commandments, for example, have similarities with the teachings of almost any major religion in the world. Check out Buddha's eight fold path, and you can see the almost identical nature of it.

Don't be deceived by power hungry fanatics that try to convince you that religion is strictly about having a "Correct" opinion. Any idiot can mouth an opinion.

If you think of God like a parent, that gives another hint. The first way in the world for a child to irritate his/her parent is to fight with a sibling. Logically, forgiveness, benevolence, and tolerance of others should be pleasing to God.

Some people insist that other issues are more important than this. But then again, some people never truly came home from that Grateful Dead concert twenty years ago.

I am not worthy of Him who has first loved me. I can never be worthy....yet I am made whole by the Blood of the Lamb. If I were the only person on the face of the earth, Jesus would happily lay down his life for me....with not a moment's hesitation.

Being made whole is, of course, a process. I still have within me the propensity to sin. I cannot make myself worthy....Jesus delights in me for who I am.

I genuflect, speak in tongues, and roll around on the floor.

Sorry. Just had to:)

Who or what is God? If God is spirituality then it represents the collective consciousness. I think of God as an energy. That energy is ubiquitous and can be wonderful or terrible depending upon perception, interpretation, and action. As a human being, I attempt to be compassionate and kind so I can contribute to the positive energy in the world. I often screw it up, but I try.

I am not worthy for God. That is where grace and mercy come in. Without grace and mercy I would not have hope of eternity with God. I had to accept God's gift of salvation in order to attain grace and mercy. Do I still stumble and need His forgiveness? Absolutely!

We never are nor can be. We have to be found clothed in Christ's righteousness. Only if we are in Him can we be accepted.
Consider a type from the Old Testament-
God destroyed the world then with a flood, saving only righteous Noah and his family in an ark...
This was a type of Christ, a foreshadowing of His future work...Christ IS our ark. The Bible is full of these sorts of types, and foreshadowings. Which is one reason why the Bible can't be read like plain literature.
Like it's written, spiritual things must be spiritually discerned.

I do my best to be pleasing to the Lord. i have faith in Him that He will do what He says. To "walk worthy of the Lord" means to walk in a way that the Lord deserves from us, not in a way that we deserve from the Lord. A clue is found in Colossians 1:10 which says, "Walk worthy of the Lord, to please him." But Hebrews 11:6 says, "Without faith it is impossible to please him." So the call to walk "worthy of the Lord" is at least a call to walk by faith. But faith looks away from itself to the worth and ability and grace and strength of another. So walking "worthy of the Lord" would mean acting in a way that shows how worthy and able and gracious and strong the Lord is.

Nobody is worthy of God. Nobody deserves Him.
But those who put their trust in Him and believe in what He did on the cross- that he died and rose again on the 3rd day are forgiven through Him--and we are counted righteous in His eyes.
Amazing, that He would give himself for us- and we do not deserve it, yet He loves us that much! Nobody is good and nobody seeks after God- Romans 3:10
But when we put our faith IN Him--we are counted righteous in His eyes- though we sin, we are forgiven and given the Holy Spirit to convict us when we do sin.

Romans 4:22
That is why his faith was "counted to him as righteousness."

No one is worthy of God.
But Christ paid the price on the cross so that man can know God.
That doesn't mean I am worthy.
Only through the blood of Jesus.
